Loving our GreenPan Nova pans. We’ve used these a lot over the past month and it’s held up beautifully. It cooks evenly, the food doesn’t stick, and cleaning it has been a breeze. We’ve fried and sautéed food, and have just been hand washing because it’s so easy to clean. We haven’t had any experience with the handle getting hot while cooking. (We have a normal gas oven.) We also have the 10″ frying pan and the 4qt saute pan. The teal color is beautiful. We chose to try the over getting another non-stick pan, and we have no regrets.

Love the skillet. great for cooking for two and non stick is really good.

This is a quality skillet, heavy and doesn’t rock when sitting on my stove burner or counter even with the heavy stainless steel handle. Beware the handle gets hot when cooking. Instructions and care suggest heating it for 90 seconds, then add a little oil or butter before adding food. It is suggested to hand wash it even though it is dishwasher safe but the non stick coating will last longer with hand washing. Quoting the Use and Care booklet, “ Every nonstick coating wears out eventually, but how long it lasts depends on how you use it. Oil + lower heat + hand washing = a longer life”. It’s also suggested to use silicone utensils, no harsh detergents or abrasives when washing. This skillet isn’t made with unhealthy things like PFAS, PFOA, LEAD, and Cadmium so it really is a GreenPan compared to some other nonstick pans.

Replaced a similar pan from that company named after sword-wielding stealthy warriors which had the non-stick coating starting to peel off. Not a good thing. This pan being PFAS-free will never have that issue. We also use an induction cooktop and this pan seems to heat quicker and more evenly that what it’s replaced. I’ve noticed too that things don’t seem to burn in this pan and that a lower cooking temperature works as well as the other pan which needed a higher setting. Overall we find this an exceptional pan and will be replacing the rest of our cookware with the same GreenPan utensils.

Not as good as induction compatible version in several ways – get the induction version.Made this mistake and returned it for the induction version which works better both for induction and normal gas or electric.
