FANTASTIC COOKWARE
I was apprehensive to but these for the longest time as I saw reviews of sticking and cracking etc.Well, I’m soooo happy I bought these. We have used them exclusively now for months, cooking everything from oatmeal, eggs, seared fish, roasted potatoes, sauces – all the things! They are SO EASY TO CLEAN! I have never put them in the dishwasher because food literally just slips off when I wash them. So simple and quick. Just some warm water and light dish soap with a soft cloth, BOOM. CLEAN!We’ve only ever used silicone cooking utensils too which work brilliantly. No scratching, no problems. We cook every day, almost every single meal. I highly recommend.

It is the pan’s non stick feature.
This non stick gray frying pan is light and very easy to clean. It is definitely worth the money.

La meilleure poêle!
Qualité supérieure! J’ai acheté la plus grande aussi.

This is our second purchase of this pan. First one got damaged using metal utensils
Exactly what we expected.

Chatham Ceramic Nonstick Cookware
They were okay for a while. But after several uses the nonstick feature did not last. We did not use abrasive cleaners/sponges either and the finish still wore off quickly.

BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE!!! See the picture. After only 5 months of general use and following GreenPan’s usage and care guidelines to the letter, the rivets holding the handle started to chip. I contacted The Cookware company, GreenPan’s parent company, and started a warranty claim to which I thought would be fairly straight forward and painless. From the start of the emails it became apparent that this was not going to be easy. The words they used were “chipping is normal”. I argued that after 5 months use it should not be chipping and in fact if chipping was normal then they should not be advertising their product as premium cookware. I have owned lower quality cookware that lasted much longer. After many emails, they denied the warranty claim stating that their “experts” could not discern a manufacturer’s defect from the picture. The whole communication from The Cookware Company appeared scripted and coached, and lead me to believe that they deny all warranty claims. The impression I got from this experience is that The Cookware Company, AKA GreenPan, is one of those companies that is out to con consumers into believing they are offering a quality product, but in reality they are a shady company selling low quality product at a premium price. I will never buy GreenPan or any product from the Cookware Company again. If you don’t believe the negative reviews on Amazon, check out the reviews on TrustPilot, the Better Business Bureau, or Google, they are becoming overwhelmingly negative.

Caution: do not waste your money
This pan did not last for 3 months before becoming sticky and a pain to clean. A couple of months into user, it got grade stuck on it so bad that Nothing would clean it. I had to use abrasion to clean it off. Now every day I see stuff arriving to it more and more. Whats the point? But a regular non stick change it frequently.

Non stick coating does not last
Things began sticking after a month despite good care. It is now very hard to clean, everything sticks so strongly to it now. My stainless steel pan cleans better than this one now.

I have only had these pots and pans for a month, but they are a big improvement over my previous set of Calphalon. I have to get used to cooking at medium to lower heat as suggested by the mfg. Not suppose to use high heat, but the heat induction on these pots and pans is so good it is not necessary. I did have to replace my metal utensils with silicone ones, but that was OK….did not want to hurt the finish on them. Food glides out easily (especially cooking eggs) and clean up is quick. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

UPDATE JUNE 15 2023 Have used the 10-inch pan for 2 years now, and food is now sticking, especially when I cook eggs. It is the one I use most. Always add oil, never put eggs or anything else I am cooking, without adding it. Never use high heat, never use metal utensils, never put in dishwasher. It is not as non-stick as it used to be. Egg residue accumulates and must be soaked to remove it with a plastic scrubber. Have not changed my rating yet because I like the healthier ceramic coating. I hoped it would last longer. My old non-stick pans with the PTFE and PFOA stayed non-stick for years, even when put in the dishwasher, but I am not going back to the old non-stick due to the toxicity. Maybe standard procedure for ceramic non-stick is to replace them every two years, like it not. The durability is not there yet.UPDATE MAY 21 2022 Still using the 8 and 10 inch pans. No problems with losing non-stick surface or food sticking. Still using olive oil, grapeseed oil, and ghee. Tried high-temp avocado oil as well. I still start with a cold pan and gradually increase the heat. I use medium heat, no higher. I get a good sear on steaks and salmon at medium heat. I let the pan cool down completely before I wipe it out or hand wash it. I also steam asparagus and green beans using a universal glass top. Getting ready to order the 11 inch pan today while it has a coupon. Hoping it will perform just as well as the 8 and 10 inch versions. Will be getting rid of my last non-ceramic Teflon coated pan.Update July 15 2021. Have been using the 8 inch and 10 inch pans for over a year now. They still cook beautifully, non stick, no problems. I do not put them in a dishwasher but rinse and wipe out. Cooked a tomato and cream cheese omelet this morning. Used a teaspoon of olive oil. No sticking. Have seared salmon many times with no problems. I start with a cold pan on low and gradually increase heat. Will be purchasing the 12 inch pan in the near future.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love this pan. Easy to clean, cooks evenly, definitely non stick. I have cooked eggs, beef, chicken, apples, and grilled cheese sandwiches. I use olive oil, grapeseed oil, and ghee. Some reviews state the non-stick quits working or comes off. No problem with that so far. I replaced an older pan that was not ceramic. and had the old-style non-stick surface. It was a good pan but I wanted a healthier alternative. This cost of this pan is economical and it works. If I have any problems, I will update.

The non-stick material is great. Omelets and pancakes just slide right out of the pan. This makes for quick and easy cleanup.

I cannot speak more highly of this pan set. It’s actually ridiculous how many pots and pans I’ve tried over the years – gave up on ever having a full set that I liked and decided to minimize to just two Our Place brand pot/pans a couple of years ago. With a growing family, they just didn’t cut it anymore and I was growing to hate cooking anything without a proper set. First trialed a tiny little egg pan from this company and quickly fell in love with it. I was hesitant that the full set would have the same quality but am pleasantly surprised to say they do! They’re truly non-stick and I feel good about using cookware that is safe and healthy to cook meals for my family without worrying about metals or toxic ingredients. They wash so well and are lightweight enough to be stored conveniently on a wall hung rack, plus are nice looking to keep out! Highly recommend.

I can’t get over how much I love these pots and pans. I had one for the last five years and decided to buy an entire set. I am being very careful about not using anything but rubber spatulas, and it keeps them from being scratched. My cooking has improved 100% Because you can cook at a lower temperature and everything browns just the way you like it. I have not burned anything in these pans and everything comes out a nice light brown when I am frying in oil. They are so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. I do not put them in my dishwasher. I hand wash them afterwards and it takes two seconds.
