Best springform pan I have ever had.
And I’m an avid baker with a special love for cheesecake. In my quest for the perfect cheesecake I have tried to find the perfect spring form pan and have tried many: from cheap to stupidly expensive ones over the years. The shortcoming that those all have are that they leak, get rusty, the bottom is hard to put in, and clamp can be challenging… I hate them. But this pan and rave reviews about instapot cheesecakes is what sold me on buying an instapot and this pan, and I am not disappointed. Actually I’m laughing as This technically makes it the most I’ve ever spent on a pan for cheesecake! Lol, I would not have bought the Insta pot if not for my love and quest for perfect cheesecake! This pan is so easy to use. I love the glass bottom it’s really nice to serve off as well and you don’t have to worry about scratching a non-stick coating that’ll end up rusting. The silicone sides mean easy release and not have to worry about making parchment paper rings Etc, it’s also lightweight and super easy to transport. Took cheesecake to Christmas dinner and everybody was floored. Even people who didn’t like cheesecake loved the cheesecake. Found a great recipe on this website that’s dedicated to all things instapot call Jack and Amy. I love these guys, they’ve done so much hard work demystifying the pressure cooker and giving, solid easy-to-follow recipes.Enjoy your instapot, this would even work in an oven, but most importantly enjoy your cheesecake! Life is too short, eat cheesecake!

Works well. Little tricky.
I’ve used it 3 times in oven. It has taken twice as long to cook. The silicone actually seems to insulate. I find removing the ring a bit tricky when hot because a bit tight when trying to remove clasp. Made excellent cake and I like the glass as serving platter. The trick to getting it closed back up tightly without a gap is to tug I silicone slightly as you “roll” it back onto glass plate and then edges meet snuggly when you put clasp back on.I know it’s meant for instant pot and I’m sure probably would work better there.

If you do not have a silicone sling, you will want to purchase one with this product
My Cheesecakes turned out beautifully, and this product is easy to clean. Definitely need to store carefully, as the bottom of the pan is glass. (on the plus side the glass doesn’t scratch like the bottoms of metal pans. I do wish they made a larger one for the 8 qt pot, as this pan is not good for family get-togethers.The other thing that was disappointing was the lack of any kind of handle (the same for their steamer basket) The sling is a separate purchase. If you don’t purchase one you will have to make one out of foil every time you use it. The trivet that came with the pot unfortunately doesn’t work so great to lift it out without messing up the cake due to the flexible silicone sides, and the trivet handles are too short. Something to keep in mind when looking at the price. It is a reasonably priced pan, however, the sling is an additional purchase.

For deserts and sooo much more!
This cakepan can be utilized in sooo very many recipes. Works wonderful for cheesecakes, batter cakes, and many other recipes having nothing to do with deserts. (lasagna, mac and cheese, meatloaf) I was a ;ittlehesitant to purchase at first due to reviews that said it leaked, hard to put back together etc. I haven’t experienced either of those two issues. Patience is all it takes to line up the groves and reassemble. Very easy to clean as well. Purchased another one as a gift, I liked so much. Also purchased the loaf pan, for banana bread, and other dishes as well. Many recipes available online. Great pans to utilize your instant pot to full potential.

Extremely useful for when it’s needed.
Extremely useful in a few cases. Not daily but at least once per week I’ve found myself reaching for it. I use my Instant Pot pretty much every other day if not daily for something. I find this extremely useful along with the supplied trivet for cooking beets. It elevates them enough above the 1 inch of water so that they steam. Lovely to have beets done in about 30 minutes time from start to finish for smallish ones (about 40 mins for the larger ones). Another very useful tip is to cook up quite a few eggs at once. Set the Instant Pot for eggs for 5 mins with them set on this rack and you have perfectly cooked, not overcooked “greyish” yolk eggs which I hate. Also perfect for steaming any vegetables or meat or other things you don’t want in the liquid below.

Won’t Last
This pan works well…the glass and silicone are easy to work with. It fits perfectly in my 6QT Instant Pot. My main problem with this pan is taking it apart to clean it and put it back together. While it isn’t hard to take apart, it is a little more difficult to put it back together, you need to hold it closed with one hand and rethread the closure part. I have used it twice and have already noticed that it isn’t as tight as it was originally. I will end up replacing this pan at some point and would chose an all metal one.

Cake pan (or pot)
It arrived in good time and works well. This is not really a springform pan as I understand the term. There is no “spring” and, as it not metal, I don’t think of it as a pan. I don’t use parchment paper to line the pot nor do I have to use anything to stop the cake from sticking as most recipes advise. I have not had any problems reassembling the pot after washing in the dishwasher. The pot is very flexible so “clicking” the two ends together is a bit fiddly but it is OK. I put the glass bottom in after I have reassembled the pot. I have used it three times and made a cheesecake and sticky toffee puddings. Yum yum!!

Great addition to your Instant Pot
This is an awesome addition while cooking in your instant pot. My partner loves to make cheesecakes from scratch and sometimes doesn’t make them due to how long you need to bake them. I got him this for those baked goodies that need to be done faster or on the go.The cake pan is well made, nice durable silicone, and nice thick glass bottom. My only concern is it can be rather annoying or troublesome to line the bottom silicone track around the edge of the glass, for placing the fastener. Other than that and doing it a couple times to get the hang of it.

I needed something stackable to make bao and these worked beautifully. Only issue is getting them out of the instant pot but other than that, they did what I wanted. The sides are reinforced and coated in silicone so it can hold the weight of another on top

When I got my Instant Pot, one of the first things I wanted to make was a cheesecake. I had originally bought an accessory kit here on Amazon but the spring from pan that came with the kit was very thin and I knew it wouldn’t be tall enough to make the cheesecake that I wanted. I searched around and saw this one and figured I would give it a try.I knew the pan was made of silicone but still I thought I might have made a mistake since it dawned on me after I pulled it from the box that the sides would not be stiff and I was concerned that it would not work that well. Since I was having a hard time finding a spring from pan that was tall enough to make what I wanted – I decided to use it and see what happened. This thing worked flawlessly. Since I was making a cheesecake, I cut a circle in my wax paper and placed it in the bottom of the pan and then greased the sides of the pan. I then made the crust and filling and was pleased that it all fit into the pan. I used a lid from a different Instant Pot pan and it fit perfectly on top of this spring from pan (the lid not only prevented moisture from getting into the cake but it also helped keep the silicone sides in a circle shape). I had to be careful when I put the pan into the pot and removed it from the pot but the true magic was when I went to get the cake out of the pan. I just peeled the sides right off the cake and it left a beautiful finish. Even though the glass bottom was made to act as a serving plate, I went ahead and removed mine (which is why I used the wax paper) and it slid right off. I attached a picture of the cheesecake I made with this pan.I read several reviews that mentioned the closure area would leak because it wouldn’t close all the way. I haven’t had this problem. I wash this in the dishwasher and as soon as the dishwasher is finished, I will pull out the glass base, the silicone sides, and the closure and use a paper towel to remove any water left on the items and while the pieces are still warm, I will put it together. It goes back together easily and has no gaps. Maybe because I put it back together while the pan is fresh from the dishwasher? I have made several cheesecakes with this pan and it has delivered for me what I wanted. This was a great purchase for me.

I use this in my “Faberware” 7 in 1 and it is the perfect fit. I noticed other comments about leakage and cannot believe they just didn’t give it a fair trial. It is made to let the oil from meat run out the bottom into the water. I have made many meatloaves in this and in fact, just made a 2lb Venison meatloaf for my husband. YES, it is made to hold 2 lb of meatloaf and I could not be more satisfied. I ordered 2 additionals pans for the family. Easy to assemble, clean-up is fast and easy. I cannot wait to try a cheesecake in this pan. You will not be disappointed, I promise. You don’t have to use any oil and that is another plus. Enjoy!
