Must Have Accessory (small, 6 quart) – slight but insignificant fit issues
This is a great, must-have accessory, in my opinion. The silicone is thick and study. It fits perfectly on the standard/included Stainless Steel 6 quart pot, it goes on and off easy and there is very tiny bit of play/space when on, not an issue in any way (it seals air when sitting normally, but it won’t hold water if tilted/inverted). But for the 6 quart Ceramic Coated Non-Stick accessory pot (Instant Pot brand), it fits, but it is a slight bit hard to put on and off, though not too bad. It seems the Ceramic accessory pot has a slightly bigger diameter rim (compared to the Stainless Steel pot) so the edge of the lid flares out just a tiny bit when the lid is on, not an issue as it goes on fully and seals completely (air and water tight).Another reviewer mentioned a bad smell when the lid is new, mine had absolutely no smell (and I’m sensitive to that). A great many other reviewers have mentioned the lid retains the smell of the food in the pot; I have used it limited times with food that does not have a strong smell (like rice), so I can’t fully comment on that yet, but haven’t noticed it happen what the food I’ve made.The lid is easy to clean, though there is a kind of film left on it (and I’ve tried cleaning it many different ways), and often water spots, but neither of those things are an issue.This lid is simply great for being able to store your food in the fridge right in it’s cooking pot, saves dishes and work. I’d definitely recommend it (for both the Stainless Steel and the Ceramic Non-Stick 6 quart Instant Pot brand pots)!

The most important Instant Pot Accessory
These are the best accessory/add-on you can get for your Instant Pot. It’s a game changer – you can store the food you make in the fridge without having to transfer it to another container, just in the inner pot. The silicone is thick and strong; the product appears genuine with good quality finishes. It snaps on perfectly around the edge of my 8qt pot with a bit of pressure around the edge. Cleans well and doesn’t seem to be holding onto any smells.The seal is fantastic – it holds in every bit of moisture so that your food doesn’t dry out in the fridge. It’s not completely leak proof, but it will contain small spills as well if you’re clumsy like I am.I would strongly recommend this to anyone who uses the Instant Pot for meal prepping especially – if you make larger portions, being able to keep things in the stainless pot covered & in the fridge is a game changer.

Well this lid is pretty handy! I decided to grab one after using saran wrap to keep a cover on the food after it was made. Seemed OK but I wanted something a bit more secure…you know for those moments when you accidentally drop it. Saran wrap won’t save you there but this lid just might!I didn’t have high expectations for it. Really….a silicone lid…not much to expect. Well I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is thick!! And sturdy. It isn’t some cheap flimsy silicone lid. Washed easily and most importantly it fit the instant pot pot well. Solidly sealed!

Very Good product and used quite frequently for storing in the fridge. Easy to clean. Haven’t had any issues with food scent affecting the silicon lid at all.Would rate it excellent if the seal was designed a little bit tighter around the 8 Quart Pot. Mainly occurs only when the food is a bit warm in the fridge, the pressure sucks the lid downward so that the seal becomes a bit stretched, and so isn’t as tight. But once you release this pressure or the food cools down, then the lid is perfectly fine. Highly recommend this product.

I felt like buying my instant pot a gift since it’s been so hardworking and loyal to me. I’ve given it other gifts in the past, like a steamer basket, egg cups, etc. This is the gift that it has found the most useful. Saving instant pot leftovers has never been so great. It has an excellent fit and the silicone feels sturdy and high quality. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. Winner winner leftover chicken dinner.

What a great addition to my instant pot. This lid is heavy duty and when you feel and use it, you can tell it is high quality. It fits my 6 quart instant pot perfectly and creates an air tight seal. I love that I can cover my instant pot left overs with this high quality lid and put it right into the fridge. It is dishwasher safe which is an added bonus. If my lid got lost or damaged I would buy another one right away.

Great for leftovers
I don’t like cooking. So if I can cook a BIG pot of rice and use it for a few days, I do it. I also don’t like dishes. This let’s me cover leftover rice and put directly into the fridge without having to dirty extra dishes. Works great!

I LOVE my instapot. It is the only cooking appliance I use and I love that I can make multiple services in one go and save the rest for later. That being said I HATE transferring the leftovers to a container for storage. With this lid I can skip a couple steps, dirty less dishes and cut clean up time by a couple of minutes. Fits GREAT on my 8qt pot. It slaps right on and sticks to the edge of the pot with a great seal. The silicone is thick and feels like it will last a long time. The product definitely fulfills it’s function. Thank you for making my life easier.

Silicone épais, de très bonne qualité et taille parfaite, mais ne correspond pas à la photo du descriptif. Il n’est pas blanc avec lettrage en couleur, mais transparent avec lettrage incolore. Attention, il est fait pour le pot 3qt qui est le petit pot que l’on met dans les 5, 6 ou 8qt pour la cuisson pot-in-pot. Ceux qui se plaignent qu’il soit trop petit n’ont pas correctement lu les caractéristiques techniques.
