We really appreciate the short and wide shape of this pitcher for blending stiff and chunky content. The pitcher is plug-and-play ready for use when received. While the plastic feels a bit lighter weight than the original it has worked fine when blending blocks of yogurt frozen in their cup. It is easier to reach the bottom and stir when needed. The pitcher seems to fit the blender without any sign of trouble under any load we have used. No problem with the blade installed on this blender after a few weeks of use. The ‘handles’ are different. We felt no preference over the handle on this pitcher compared to the original. Opinions may vary, but so far cleaning this wide pitcher seems a bit easier. One difference that was not a problem for us, but might annoy some folks is how the lid works. unlike the original pitcher, this lid is held in place by two “ears” (see photo). The ears are supposed to snap over the lip of the pitcher. (see arrow in photo). However, the lip on this pitcher is not a simple circular shape. The “ears” cannot be snapped on where the spout forms on the lip of the pitcher. See “X” in photo. In contrast the original pitcher has a lip that allows the round lid to be placed in any orientation. I felt mild frustration getting used to the fact that this lid can only be applied securely when the “ears” are not near the spout. It was a limitation that I could get used to. … but I can imagine some folks might find it frustrating. Overall, we enjoy using this pitcher on our 15+ year old blender.

Sufficient replacement except for the terrible noise when blending. Thought I could take it for the price but I couldn’t.

I find that I prefer this smaller pitcher to the original larger one. It’s so convenient for making my morning smoothies without using a huge pitcher. The quality is very good, the pitcher is thick and sturdy and fits my machine perfectly. Because of the size I can now store my blender under the cabinet with the pitcher on.

I was hoping this would fit on my Vitamix under the counter, but it still didn’t (I must have low cupboards. But, I still like the low profile. It makes it a bit easy to get to the bottom when blending and cleaning. Be aware it is not a glass container, but it still sturdy.

This looks great and I was excited to have an extra blender pitcher – it could come in so handy. But then I put it on my Vitamix and ran it. It doesn’t mesh with the base correctly so when I turned it on the noise was incredibly loud. I’m not sure why, but I put my original pitcher back on and turned it on and it was back to the normal sound range. I won’t use this pitcher.
