This fits my vitamix blender. I wanted to have a second pitcher dedicated to blending hot peppers, so I ordered this one. I like that it’s smaller in size than the traditional Vitamix blender. The plastic and rubber feel cheaper than the authentic Vitamix blender. The plastic feels thinner and the rubber is less pliable and harder. They both operate the same though. It is as easy to clean as the name brand pitcher. It works fine for my purposes (blending fermented peppers to make hot sauce). The handle is made from the same plastic as the body of the pitcher, which is a departure from the original. Overall I am happy with this pitcher and will continue to use it.

We regularly make smoothies and hummus with the Vitamix blender. Having this blender container has been a delight. Sometimes we use the OEM pitcher for several steps with the need to wash it in between. We were looking for another pitcher so we could just do one clean up at the end of food preparation. The “extra” pitcher makes the preparation go faster and “smoother” (pun intended 😊). The smaller volume (48 compared to 64) is ideal for small smoothie prep. It fit our 10+ year old Vitamix out-of-the-box, and the plastic has been easy to clean. No yellowing or clouding of the plastic after several months including dishwasher cleaning. Although the lid fits a bit differently, the difference does not diminish our enthusiasm. The mouth of the pitcher is a tad wider than the 64oz OEM pitcher which has been convenient for our preparation. Exceeded our expectations

I wonder if my original used to be this clear? Anyway. This appears to be quality equal to the OEM container. Lid fits tight. No abnormal noise. We almost never need the 64oz capacity, this smaller one will be easier to use and clean.

UPDATE: 3/4/25 I’ve changed my review from 4 stars to 1 star upon further usage. Every time I’ve used this replacement blender, the spin attachment has come unseated no matter what I do. It got worse with every use and it has actually damaged my $700 Vitamix. I’m very displeased. Please save yourself costly repairs and do not order this. Below, I will leave my initial review because it was accurate at the time, and the video does show the issue I had that continued to get worse.We make a lot of smoothies with our Vitamix. We have a large pitcher, but I’ve wanted the smaller one for my kids to make their smoothies – it’ll keep them from making too much at a time.PROS: This works pretty much as it should. It’s quality construction and I like that the lid is very similar to the brand name pitcher.CONS: the bottom seems to sit a little higher on the base so if the pitcher moves a little, it’ll grind the gears. We had to make sure the pitcher was firmly seated on the base (I always make sure it’s on properly, but this one seemed to need a little extra attention than the original pitcher).OVERALL: great replacement pitcher. Easy to use and easy to wash. My only concern is that it doesn’t seem to fit as securely on the base. We’ve only had one instance where it unseated so I hope it was just user error. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this and my kids love it.

It works with my Explorian Vitamix with programs & I wanted the smaller container to have the versatility to make smaller batches of soups & smoothies. However the container will shift just a bit on the base a bit when the blades spin (see my video). It doesn’t sit securely like the original. The slight shifting doesn’t impede its blending at all so not a big issue, but it’s not a perfect fit, if that’s something you’re considering
