Start your journey to wellness!
My therapist has been telling me to start a journal for years and I always had a difficult time due to a lack of structure. This journal provides all the structure you’ll need – and more. It is not just a fitness journal, but also an overall health and wellness journal. There are a lot of apps that offer something similar, but there’s something to be said for that old fashioned sitting down and writing out your thoughts into a real journal. Just the act of setting that time aside for myself has been healing. Use this journal to keep track of your fitness journey, as well as learning other powerful self-care tools, gratitude reflections, and more. You keep track of every aspect of your being, which is a great holistic way to care for one’s self and journey towards better overall wellness.

Its okay
I love the pages and quality but i wish there’s a variety of colours. I read through it and I think it would benefit me a lot on the long run.

Not just a journal – More of a self help book.
It’s kind of a self help book and journal rolled into one. The beginning of the book talks about the benefits of writing down commitments and visualization/meditation, setting goals, defining missions, making contracts with yourself etc. It’s a 4 month journal, where you start with setting your goals for the full 4 months, then breaking it down to a month, weekly and then daily goals. The way it’s organized, it’s more for “setting intentions” in the morning, and then evaluating how you met those intentions each night. The quality of the book itself is good, but at $45.00 at time of writing, I find it a bit steep for what it is. It isn’t really laid out for what I personally was looking for. I just wanted an organized fitness activity/food/water tracker. I’m not really wanting to spend time expressing all my feelings about life the universe and everything every morning and night.

Your Path to Holistic Well-being
The journal at hand is not your average fitness log; it’s a gateway to a holistic, well-rounded life. It bridges the gap between traditional pen-and-paper writing and modern self-improvement.Pros:- Beyond fitness, this journal delves into mental well-being, gratitude, daily reflections, and goal-setting.- Rich in motivational quotes from luminaries like Bruce Lee and Aristotle, it inspires as it tracks.- The tactile satisfaction of pen on paper is a delight for those who appreciate the traditional feel.- While some have mentioned thin pages, the design and content overshadow this minor issue.- A bit on the pricier side, but it’s an invaluable tool for self-discovery and habit tracking.- An excellent gift for those seeking to improve their lives and embrace a well-rounded approach to well-being.Cons:- Some users have noted that the pages are thinner than expected, which might lead to ink seepage if using inky pens.

MUCH more than a fitness journal.
I like tracking my workout progress, and had originally ordered this for just that purpose. When it arrived, though, it quickly became evident this was much more elaborate than a simple workout journal. As the true nature (tracking workouts, nutrition, gratitude, goals, thoughts, dreams, etc.) is far more expansive, I decided to give it to my wife (who was actually looking for something exactly like this). So, with all that having been said, I have to say it’s an incredible journal. It’s beautifully designed. It allows you to capture just about everything you could think of, with respect to self improvement. Yes, you can track your workouts, but you can also keep track of daily affirmations, thinks you’re grateful for, etc. – everything you’re told to do to cultivate a more confident, happier life.If there were one drawback, it would be that the pages are a little on the thin side, so if you do order this, I would recommend using a pencil or less inky pen, to avoid too much seepage.

Not your typical fitness journal, more of a self help program
I ordered the “Fitness Journal 2023” as a workout log to record and track my workouts but when I received it, I realized that that’s not what it is. It is more of a self help journal with a fitness focus. I should have paid more attention to the product listing instead of just looking at the title. While it states “Fitness Journal 2023”, it is undated so it can be used anytime. The journal is a 4 month self help program to make changes in your life. While it states “fitness”, it could be used for things other than fitness. The book starts with explaining the program and having you fill in various questions. It will require some self reflection. The book generally is good at explaining things and provides examples but one thing I found that was missing was a definition for ” My Identity Statement”. It wants you to complete one but doesn’t explain what that is.It’s broken down into weekly planning and then daily morning and night time reporting. There is also a habit tracker. In the morning, you are asked to note:- I am grateful for (3 things)- Things I will do for my well being and health today (3 things)- Mindful AffirmationAlong with noting your wake up time, your sleep hours, your mood and your energy level. At night you are asked to note,- How did I take care of myself today? (3 things)- What did I learn today? (2 lines)Plus there is space to note your water intake and bedtime. At the end of the 4 months, there is “Your Mindful Review”.I haven’t started the program yet but I have read through it. I also want to think about some of the responses to questions it asks including what I want to achieve from it since it requires self reflection. While this isn’t what I was expecting, it is something that can build on work that I have been doing in counseling. My counseling sessions are ending soon so I will use this to keep me going for the next 4 months to see what changes I can continue to make in my life.I think this book can be a useful tool, it just depends what your expectations are. At the time of this review, the Fitness Journal is selling for $45 and I think that’s pricey for what it is.
