Everything was in a very heavy box, and I had to open it and move it into the study in several trips. I am very grateful that the delivery person didn’t damage it. The assembly instruction is too simple, and you had to spend a lot of time looking at the pictures to figure out how to install it correctly. It would be better if each part had a number. The pre-drilled holes on the back of the tabletop are in the right positions, but if you find that they don’t align with the holes on the metal table legs, you need to adjust the table legs. That’s because these metal components can sometimes deform a little after assembly, but it doesn’t affect anything. The metal table legs are connected to the tabletop using self-tapping screws, and they cannot be reinstalled. It would be more convenient if embedded nuts were used on the back of the tabletop to facilitate disassembly and movement, but this would also increase the cost, and we can’t expect more at this price.Additionally, it has three programmable buttons that allow you to easily switch between sitting and standing positions, and you can also set a different standing height for your partner. Very convenient.

I recently purchased the ExaDesk Electric Adjustable Height L-Shaped Standing Desk, and I couldn’t be happier with my investment. The quality of this desk is outstanding; it’s sturdy, sleek, and incredibly functional. The electric height adjustment feature is a game-changer, allowing me to effortlessly switch between sitting and standing positions throughout my workday. The L-shaped design provides ample workspace, accommodating all my essentials without feeling cramped. What impressed me the most was the smooth and quiet operation of the height adjustment mechanism. It’s evident that this desk is built with precision and attention to detail. Working long hours has never been this comfortable. Not to mention, the modern aesthetic of the desk has elevated the overall look of my home office.I highly recommend the ExaDesk Electric Adjustable Height L-Shaped Standing Desk to anyone in need of a versatile, high-quality, and stylish workspace solution. It has truly transformed my work environment and added a touch of sophistication to my home office setup.

Pros:Well Packed: Each desk arrives in a very heavy, well-protected box. Despite significant external damage to the packaging, all parts were undamaged.Ergonomics:The desks offer an electric height adjustment feature which is excellent for both sitting and standing work. It’s especially useful for taller individuals or those who like to switch positions.Design:The desks look great and fit well in a home environment.Charging Ports:Each desk includes one USB and one USB-C port, although their placement could be more convenient.Cons:Keyboard Tray:The assembly of the sliding keyboard tray is subpar – the parts are flimsy and the tray doesn’t move smoothly.Drawers:The four small drawers are made of cardboard, which feels cheap and reduces the overall quality perception.Assembly:While the instructions are mostly clear with illustrations, there are 29 steps, and choosing the right screws or bolts can be confusing. Assembly might take several hours, especially for someone with physical limitations like myself (I’m 78 with back pain).Upper Shelves:These are smaller than expected, particularly in depth, which might not accommodate larger monitors without overhang.Materials:The desk is made from a composite material rather than wood, so be careful not to over-tighten screws.Personal Experience:I bought two of these desks, one for me and one for my wife. The heavy boxes were challenging to move (I used a handcart). Once assembled, the desks do offer good functionality despite the assembly frustrations, particularly with the keyboard tray.Recommendations:Use an electric screwdriver for assembly due to the numerous screws and bolts, but be cautious not to apply too much force.Be prepared for a time-consuming setup, especially if you have mobility issues. All in all, I’m happy with the desks for their look and ergonomic benefits they provide, which is why I’ve given them 4 stars. However, the assembly and quality of some components could be improved.

This late 50s female put this together by myself in about one 1/2 hours. Instructions were mostly clear and putting furniture together does not scare me so I studied the directions and got it right the first time. I only needed assistance from another person when I wanted to turn it over. I have been using it for about 2 months and love it. I am 6’1” tall and at almost the highest position it is perfect for standing.

Hi ExaDesk manufacturers… You’re expecting people who do not assemble things often to assemble a complex electric desk. OK, so how about giving customers really detailed instructions? The instruction booklet refers to items A, B, C, etc., but NOTHING in the box was labeled except the destop segments, and those were labeled wrong. Really? The instruction booklet is small and the illustrations are done in TINY font and drawings. It would cost 50 cents more to make a large booklet will illustrations that can be seen without a magnifying glass. How about providing some useful text about what the illustrations are saying?Assembly took 4 hours and I’ve actually assembled an electric desk before. Once the desktop is assembled and the legs and motor-frame are put together separately, you screw the legs assembly to the desktop upside down on the floor. Then you have to flip the entire awkward thing upright. The steel legs are super sturdy but also heavy. The whole desk weighs almost 100lbs. The L-shaped S07 model is big and bulky. Turning it upright is definitely not a 1-person job.I would have given this 5 stars if the instructions were even remotely user-friendly.A smaller gripe — there are no capped holes in the surface through which to run electrical cables. So, they fall over the back and you need to find a way to manage the crappy cable look.Focusing on the positive, the good news is the desk is very sturdy, looks nice (I got black), it arrived without damage, and raises and lowers beautifully. Tons of surface space. And what I really like is the shorter leg of the L-shape is on the LEFT. That’s pretty rare and exactly what I needed for my space. Terrific desk for the price.
