    Eufy Monitor
Really great video clarity and pan/zoom features. Worth the investment

    Can’t keep screen always on
Have had one of those cameras in daily use for 4 years, it is great.Bought this one for second child, and hating inability to keep video screen always on (previous version of this camera allows the monitor screen to always be on)If it’s a battery issue, I can keep it plugged in to a power bank or something. But the way the screen must always turn off and I can’t keep it on is very annoying. It turns on when camera hears a noise, but still. I’d much rather it was always on, kids get up without any noise sometimes!

After 2 Units in 4 years, Don’t Buy
We have had 2 Eufy baby cameras in the past 4 years. I bought this newer model in February 2023. Great unit for the first 6 months, and then battery duration starts dropping over time. By month 12, it barely keeps its charge for more than 1h. By month 18, it has to be charged constantly.Picture and audio qualities are great, functionalities are good too, the angles this camera can reach are superb, but just because of the monitor’s battery lifespan and frustration it causes when it dies during the night even if it’s being charged sometimes, I would recommend looking into other models. It is disappointing as the cameras are great, but Eufy should invest in better battery life, or perhaps another system entirely with AA batteries.

Poor quality control but great support
Worked great at first but after a few months the power cord input in the monitor became so lose the cord will not stay in. Monitor is unusable now without having to replug in unit non stop. Support was quick and replaced unit

Monitor Died in less than 2 years
This was my second time purchasing this unit. The monitor screen won’t show any image and there’s no sound even when fully charged (LED indicator still works). I ordered another set for the second child so that I now have 2 cameras and one monitor to watch both sleeping kids.

    Disappointed with customer support
Very disappointed with eufy. Our camera is not working after under a year of use and eufy will not help us as we received it as a shower gift. Pointless to spend almost $300 on a monitor that won’t last long

Screen can’t be left running always.
Picture quality is great, the main thing we were looking for.Comes with wide angle lens add-on which was perfect allows us to leave it close to crib and capture everything.Display is large and quickly responds.Only negative from us is that we cannot keep the screen on permanently even if plugged in. There are 3 settings 1, 3, 5mins duration where the screen will stay on without any activity until it shuts off. Only thing preventing a perfect score is no option to just keep screen on until shutoff by user. You can set auto activation when room temperature or sound reaches a defined number but still would prefer an option to have always on.

Great quality camera and night vision is good. Monitor is also very clear and easy to use. Sounds is great and easy to connect monitor to camera. I wish there was a way to also connect to your phone! Very easy to set up.

I literally can’t make this up. I bought this as a replacement to one I already have that stopped working after 14 months, just outside of the year warranty (like many other buyers have stated). Opened the box. Plugged it in. Tried to pair the camera, and failed. After about 10 minutes I got it to pair but the monitor doesn’t stay on. It just flashes off and on and unpairs with the camera like many others have had issue with. The fact that way more than a few people have said theirs died right outside of the warranty window should say something about this company. I reached out to them, followed all their steps for troubleshooting including updating the firmware (pain in the…) and nothing worked. Their next suggestion was to buy another one. I laughed, but apparently I’m not that smart because I did. Truly, when this thing works it’s great, but and this is a big but, Kids products need to work all the time, reliability, and durability matters! Peace of mind at night is clearly not important to this company, just grabbing Americans cash is.This isn’t the only company selling monitors based out of china but it’s the one you should stay as far away from as possible.

Explored newer features on other monitors but the relative we were purchasing for really preferred the simple operation and reliable performance. Third unit we bought for family and all still working great.

There are several gripes I have with this camera.I’ve been using it for 4 months as a baby monitor.1) battery life of the monitor is TERRIBLE. Lasts maybe 1 hour2) I have to use it with the micro -usb cable on and the port is on the right side of the monitor making it difficult to keep monitor standing in the table if the outlet is on the other side since it pulls.3) uses micro usb4) the plug area is so loose it falls off very easily. Very often I wake up to a dead monitor. Literally cable falls off with the slightest touch. Maybe I got a dud monitor?5) the monitor kick stand that pops out from the back is very flimsy cheap plastic with cheap attachment to the monitor. I’m afraid to use it lest it snap off on day.6) the monitor kick stand on the back makes loud noise (plastic slaps down on the plastic back of monitor) you want to close it up. This was so painful especially when baby is asleep even with a white noise machine my baby gets startled. Even if you try to do it slowly and gently it will still make a snap noise even if you release it from 1 millimeter away.7) the rounded edges of the monitor are not compatible at all to a iPhone /ipad stand. I prefer to use another stand such as a iPhone holder instead of the flimsy kick stand it has but alas it cannot fit traditional gorilla stand type iPhone holders. I especially need it when I take a shower and need to watch baby but alas I can’t do that. Instead I put it on the sink top and have to peak out from behind the shower curtain every 2 mins.8) there is a weird feedback loop noise that comes out of the camera head itself whenever there is a noise in the room. For example when baby cries you can hear the same cry echo from the camera. I have to keep the volume low for that reason lest it wake up the baby from its own sleep sounds. That makes it hard for me to hear anything going on from the baby monitor. I have to keep the volume down and even at the lowest setting (it won’t let you turn it completely off) , you can still hear the feedback loop if baby has a loud cry.9) it doesn’t have an easy off button. I wish it had an off button on the camera or monitor itself. I tried traveling with it once so I had to unplug it to put in my suitcase and it kept repeating “battery low” warnings the entire time until it completely ran out. I looked it up and apparently you need an app to turn it off. WHY?!?!?10) buttons on the monitor clicks so loud. So cringe whenever baby is sleeping and you click a button on the monitor clicks. The above are things I wish I knew before purchasing. There might be more but can’t think of any right now.2 stars bc the camera part works to show the baby. Has night vision which is good.I actually did research to try to find a no frills baby monitor that doesn’t involve fancy attachments to track breathing and temp (my opinion is overkill). I ended with this cheap dud. Regrets … I don’t usually write Amazon reviews but this pissed me off so often I finally caved and needed to vent.

This is a really good monitor for all ages. My 6 year old wanted a camera in his room because he’s scared of monsters and I wanted to give him extra security. You can change the view of the camera from the monitor and it covers pretty much the whole room. He likes that I can talk through the camera to him as well. The video quality is decent for a monitor. The charge doesn’t hold well, so I keep it plugged in constantly. Easy to set up and good value for money.
