Best baby monitor on the market @ a great price!
This baby monitor is finally an up to date camera that surpasses other cameras that is lacking in this product space, every other company IMO is far behind considering today’s technology, and overpriced compared to this. Everything works great, no complaints. As for the others who complained about the connectivity issues, I personally have not experienced them.

    Great camera
Easy set up & great camera!

    Great Monitor
This is an awesome baby monitor. I love that you view the camera via the portable base or on your phone. My favourite feature is that the camera has a battery so if the power goes out the camera still works!Only downside is you can’t only buy a second camera for the monitor

Simple set-up; good quality video and audio; bluetooth connection to app possible
The Eufy E21 is a well made baby camera and monitor system with lots of bells and whistles. It also features small quality of life improvements over its predecessor, the Eufy Spaceview. The camera itself is about the size of a soda can, but shorter. The camera is 4K, has black and white night vision, a 120 degree wide angle lens, 8x zoom (digital not optical), a built-in battery, and can pan about 330 degrees. It features a microphone that sticks out from a flexible wire. Note that the camera has some heft to it and the wire may be tempting to yank on with curious, small hands, so be sure to keep the camera far away from your child. The microphone features automatic noise cancellation to filter out noise from fans or traffic. It’s not perfect but it seems to reduce most background noise to a low “white noise” like drone. The kit comes with two mounts. One of the mounts allows you to mount the camera horizontally or vertically. The crib mount’s goose neck sticks out the back of the mount so if you plan to mount it on the backside of your crib, you need to make sure your crib is far enough from the wall to let the mount squeeze in there. Thoughtfully, the mount is fully padded with silicone on the grip and the top of the screw. Again, both mounts do not have integrated plugs or panduits for the power cable so wires will be sticking out of the camera, so care must be made that the wires are not accessible to your child. Unlike the Spaceview, the E21 does not come with a shelf mount, however I think these two options are superior. The system allows you to view footage on your smartphone with the Eufy app from anywhere in the world, if you have the WiFi enabled. Unlike some systems, you can view the live stream on the baby monitor and the smartphone app simultaneously. The baby monitor now has a thick, weighted base that lets it stand up by itself vs. the Spaceview’s skinny kickstand. This also makes the monitor a bit easier to hold – sort of like a video game controller. The buttons have a very shallow travel but when pushed give a satisfying click. The monitor has a 5″ screen vs. the Spaceview’s 6″, but this also makes it more portable. Like the Spaceview, you can play preset songs and lullabies from the monitor to the camera. The monitor can be charged by simply placing it on top of the included charging dock, which is great when it’s 2am and you really don’t want to have to fiddle with a USB cable. The really impressive thing is the portability of this system. The camera communicates with the monitor with Bluetooth by default. That means that if you don’t turn on the WiFi, it does not connect to the Internet and you do not need a subscription to view live footage. Combined with the long battery life of both camera and unit, you can pack both for a trip and set them up at your destination within a minute.

Not secure, customer support not easily accessible
Worked really great but not secure. The camera moved on its own at past 3am. No one in the household was awake at the time as could be seen in the camera. Tried to recalibrate to see if the position would be the same as the camera view but it was not which means it was purposefully moved to that side of the room. Tried to connect with customer support but not successful.

Lags in timing from when baby cries or moves to when the monitor notifies you by way too long.
I hear my baby cry minutes before the monitor even turns on to notify me (when on sleep mode). The point of the monitor is to notify you the second they make noise or move, otherwise you could miss something dangerous happening in the crib or room relying on this thing. I have a $30 one that doesn’t have video, that the second the baby makes a sound the monitor goes off. You would think for this price you would get the same monitor quality plus video. Its basically just a camera with a lagged monitor. In order to fix the lag you need to keep it off sleep mode, but then you hear white noise all night and can’t sleep. I am disappointed in this product.

Easy to use with clear audio and video.
This review is for the eufy Baby Monitor.  The first thing I really liked is the quality of the video.  I was surprised at how clear the video is and that you can see small details when you zoom in.  I also liked the pan and tilt functions and how smoothly they work.  Another thing I liked was how clear the sound is; I wasn’t expecting that.I found this easy to set up and use.  I’m using this strictly when I’m at home to monitor my dogs.  We’re dealing with behavioral issues, and having the monitor with me has allowed me to verify which of our dogs is the “culprit.”  The monitor itself is lightweight, easy to use, and so far durable (I dropped it twice so far with no damage).  This comes with a number of functions, including alert and sleep mode. You can also use this when out of the house by installing their app.  I am not using the app but did confirm that I could download and use it.  FYI, I could not download the app on my husband’s old phone, but I could on my newer phone.  For those wanting to use in a stationary position in a higher location, you can hang this up.  Overall, this seems well-made, and I rate it a 4.5 out of 5.

This is my second Eufy baby monitor that we have had in the last 2 years. Our original one (the older model) began to lose connection so I decided I wanted to upgrade to the WiFi model. The picture quality is excellent and the screen size is perfect. To my disappointment, the camera did start to lose connection and would only reconnect if I would go in to my son’s room and power the camera on and off (similar to other reviews),After dealing with this issue for a couple weeks I reached out to their customer service to request a replacement. They were extremely understanding and had a replacement to me the following day and provided a return label for the camera that was disconnecting. The replacement was disconnecting almost immediately so I was obviously very irritated at this point and requested a refund. Their customer service was very responsive and apologetic and was willing to refund me and take back both cameras.Luckily before I returned the camera there was an update that came out to fix bugs and connection issues. Since that update we have not lost connection one time. I contacted customer service again with an update and they were happy that it was now working and want to review the camera that was malfunctioning to find the root of the issue to make quality improvements.I was ready to leave this brand but because of their customer service and their ability to acknowledge the issues and wanting to make improvements, I will remain a Eufy customer for all of my baby monitor needs.

    PROS:

1.) Active noise reduction

2.) Alternates the sound every 5 seconds between the two cameras and you can see both babies at the same time

3.) If the power goes out the camera has a built in rechargeable battery, so you can still see baby 4.) 24/7 recording (for this feature I believe you have to have a c10 micro SD card (max 128gb) installed into the camera. I have ordered a sandisk extreme C10 128gb for my camera)

5.) Comes with a crib mount

6.) Sound alerts to our phones

, option to use critical alert option so it bypasses silent and DND modes on your iphone7.) 4K HD

8.) Camera has a built in battery, if power goes out you can still see baby

9.) night vision10.) Cameras LED light auto turns off in the dark

11.) Works with wifi and non wifi, so no problem if power goes out & since camera has built in battery

12.) 2 cameras and monitor bundle on Amazon is currently $359.

13.) User manual states you can connect up to 4 cameras to this monitor as well, however I’m not sure how many the split screen option shows at once.

14.) App access to view cameras from phone

CONS of Eufy E21:

1.) From the reviews, it appears they are working out some kinks with the sound and other reported glitches

2.) Users have noted that the monitor doesn’t play an active noise/alarm when monitor is dying or when/if camera disconnects, so you could possibly sleep through not being able to see or hear babies through the night without that alarm feature.

3.) Users have noted when you switch the wifi off, it doesn’t actually disconnect. Users have noted that Eufy support has said they are working on an update to this as well.

4.) I do not believe there is a floor stand.

Not sure if pro or con of Eufy E21:

1.) User stated as a pro, but I see it as a con, monitor unit does not have a kickstand. However, it does have a charging base for it to sit upright on.I am also not sure if the Eufy requires a monthly subscription to use the app. I will provide updates when I receive the unit (set to arrive tomorrow) and begin playing with the app and setup.UPDATES AFTER INSTALL USING FOR 2 WEEKS:Monitor does not need a kickstand as it has a large base to support itself.Night vision appears as good as my infant optics.Active noise reduction isn’t great. My infant optics completely erases the sound of the noise machine, and I can hear baby clear as day. However, with Eufy, I can’t really hear the baby over the noise machine. I only really know he’s making noise when the app alerts me.The camera records noise alerts, so you know what baby was crying about. Love that!No subscription seems to be needed.I have not had any camera disconnection issues.

I am truly impressed with the video quality of the Eufy Baby Monitor E21. It’s a must-have for parents seeking peace of mind, especially when in another room away from the baby. The clarity and reliability of the monitor make it easy to keep an eye on your little one without any worries. One of its biggest advantages is that it runs in hybrid mode, meaning it works even without an internet connection—perfect for travel! The included monitor is incredibly handy, featuring a charging dock for convenience. Plus, the crib stand adds extra flexibility. While the camera doesn’t notify you when the battery runs out, this can easily be resolved by keeping it plugged into power. Overall, it’s excellent value for money and a great investment for any parent!

  11. Law

Smart connect should allow the monitor to connect over our mesh wifi network when the point to point connection is weak. It doesn’t work which makes it useless in a medium size home. The signal even dropped to the lowest bar from the room next door. I had two of these, both with the latest firmware, both with the same issue and no support from eufy
