Parent unit does not work with batteries
The parent unit takes 3 AAA batteries. I used two different sets and have a battery tester; there was nothing wrong with the batteries. The one battery was difficult to get in and I suspect the plastic holding the batteries in place was preventing contact. I returned it for a refund and buying a different make.

Need longer range.
Since I bought this to keep tabs on my chicken coop, I was disappointed to figure out my coop is just 10 feet or so too far. Once out of range it starts to beep. There aren’t any trouble shooting directions so I just had to figure out on my own why it was beeping. So apparently 75 feet is too far. I didn’t see a range listed.
