I just used this for the 1st time. The bread came out perfect. The lid is very heaving for lifting to remove and add every 15 minutes but we’ll worth it. I plan on buying another to bake 2 loaves at a time.

This works very well for baking bread. It is built sturdy and high quality. My only complaint is that it it extremely hard to lift the lips off using the handle while wearing oven mits. This seems like a design flaw.

This is a very beautiful cast iron dutch oven. It’s a bit smaller than I expected but definitely will be able to make some nice size bread loaves. The red is very bright and beautiful, and it’s a very heavy, solid, and seemingly well made dutch oven.
