In Canada – Update after 1 yr. of use – read this!
From Canada – Sept. 2023 – a year AFTER buying our DASH air fryer. Hubby resisted having an air-fryer for nearly 2 yrs. He said, – we have two insta-pots and that’s enough – besides, we don’t have room for more big appliances in our kitchen. Fine, I didn’t push it until one day in Sept. 2022 (a yr. ago) this cute DASH air-fryer (a name brand I’d never heard of) was featured on Amazon for only $40 Cdn. + tax. So, hubby said fine – he agreed it was worth a try for such a small cost. We hadn’t seen any brands under $130 each, up until then. I see this one costs $116.00 now however – everything has gone up like crazy since Covid ended.Ours arrived well packed and brand new, not a “return” as I’ve read some people have received in the past. Before buying it I also read that the timing numbers can wear off quickly (around the timing knob) so … as soon as I got mine, I cut out a round ring from a transparent plastic book cover I had, and taped it on. Whalla! My numbers are still intact as new, with the covering over them.Our air fryer has been used well over 50 times within the past year and with GREAT results each time! Our favorite thing to cook in it is chicken of course…crispy brown, and juicy each time. The day I cooked a whole chicken in it (that comes out so crispy all over and juicy inside – 1 hr. 10 mins. at 375 – turning once half way – starting with the front side down) – was the day hubby decided we should have TWO air fryers…so, guess what I got for Xmas last year…another one he bought from London Drugs! And somehow finding room for all these machines is no longer a problem? – ha! The second one is a little bigger (a different brand) and so far works well too, but … this little DASH … is still my go to first! Now we have one for meat and one for veggies/fries. Buying a “two basket” air fryer didn’t make sense to us – different foods take different times to cook. We didn’t want over-cooked fries or veggies as we waited for the meat to cook properly, so having two air fryers makes a lot of sense to us.Don’t hesitate to buy this machine … which is perfect for two people! After a whole year of regular use, we still LOVE OUR DASH!!!

Amazing little air fryer for the price
Good quality air fryer for the sale price. I have used it fairly regularly for 6 months now, most of the time just tossing in preseasoned frozen chicken breasts from Walmart, and then some mini potatoes. The trick is to use some cooking spray directly on the meat after, turns out perfect every damn time.Even heat, easy to use, and easy clean up. The small size makes it perfect for single people or couples. Wish I had bought a few more before the price increase as gifts and for myself (simultaneous air frying?).

Just what I wanted!
I’ve had an actifry for many years, one of the original ones. Makes great fries…but not too much else because of the stirring action beats stuff up. I decided to try one of these style of air fryers to have while camping. So far it’s really great! I find it incredibly versatile. For example you can cook two hamburgers and then quickly toast the buns afterwards. Or cut a frozen pizza into quarters and just cook one portion. For this particular Dash model, it’s simple and effective. The top handle is a bonus as well as the temperature control, and the size is compact and perfect for 1-2 people. It’s size also helps with portion control to be honest. I’m not sure why you’d need to spend more than this other than to get a larger size. Don’t fall for any gimmick features…it’s a mini convention oven. Has a fan and element – blows hot air into a pot with a grate at the bottom. Couldn’t get any simpler. Don’t spend more that a hundred bucks on an “air fryer”…it’s not warranted. Cheers!

So happy with this air fryer. I am using it for months now, and it woks perfectly and with amazing performance. Perfect size and I like how simple to use it without need to read or figure out many buttons or options. I also in love with the retro style of it.

30 mins in the air fryer and these thick cut chops were cooked to perfection inside and out. Extremely easy to use. Love it so far and zero oil added.*****UPDATE***** same day it arrived, minutes after I used it, chops turned out great. Went to put fresh cut fries in and pushed the bucket it, set the temp and turned on the timer and this metal grinding noise comes from the top of it, so I open it and look don’t see anything so I push it back in. Leave fries for 30 mins on the timer. Pull the bucket out when it was done and fries are still raw. I shake up the bucket to move the fries around and I hear a rattle, remove fries and the grill and find a nut from a bolt. Must have been what I heard. Needless to say I am returning this item as clearly something was a defect and it is brand new. It did cook the meat really good so I opted for an exchange for a better brand (Ninja) that is slightly more expensive.

Cute and easy to clean. Small – best for 1 or 2 people. Disappointing with some foods. Not seeing crispy outside juicy inside with meat or veg. Fries good.

Numbers on the timer wiped off within half a year.
As in photo. Also regarding the button, having had one break off on a previous basket fryer, I no longer twist it back to off; I just pull out the basket and unplug, and it goes back on its own.Otherwise it works well and gets a lot of use.

Me encantó, está muy buena. Ya la usé para hacer alitas y también para hacer milanesas y quedó rico. Muy práctica. El tamaño es bueno para una o dos personas si tu familia es grande, considera una más grande, porque no tiene espacio para poner mucho. Pero para mí está perfecta. El color también es muy lindo.

Muy buena. Tiene una canasta regular, no es muy grande, como referencia, puedo hacer tres tacos con tortillas dobladas (no rollito) y caben bien. Súper fácil de usar, solo hay que habituarse a los grados Fahrenheit. Es amplia así que busca lugar en tu cocina.
