Durable Cast Iron

Cuisiland Cast Iron Dutch Oven is made from heavy-duty, durable cast iron, so heat is retained better than regular cookware. This dutch oven evenly disperses its heat to ensure all food is cooked thoroughly; it naturally adds iron to your diet.

And the Dutch oven is pre-seasoned and ready to use right out of the box; this is recommended for best use for cauldron-type cooking.

Multi-functionMulti-function

Multi-Functional

Our pre-seasoned cast iron dutch oven is a multi-functional cookware that works best with slower-cooking recipes. It is the perfect-sized dutch oven and may be used to cook food on top of your stove, baked in your oven or cook up something delicious over an open campfire. The tight-fitting lid also doubles as a griddle, so you may flip the lid over and cook up a morning breakfast with eggs and bacon!

It features a loop handle holder for convenient handling and maneuvering when placed over an open campfire or on your stove.

How to Take Care of a Cast Iron Product:

When preparing to use your cast iron, please remember it does come pre-seasoned however, it does work best if you continue to use oil in the pan. When you are finished cooking, and the cast iron has cooled down, please use hot water and a sponge or stiff brush and wipe the pan out. If any food remains stuck, you may use kosher salt and warm water to work the food of the pan. To finalize this process, please hand dry the cast iron. Cast iron is not intended to be put into a dishwasher or washed with soap.

How to Care Cast iron pot

soapsoap

Dish soap & Hot water:

Cleaning a dutch oven after using it is simple and only involves soap and hot water. You might need an abrasive scrub pad to remove pesky food residue, but the most important rule is to avoid steel wool and other metallic pads or brushes. Run hot water, add a few drops of dish soap, and scrub off food residue with your non-scratch pad. Rinse away soap suds, then dry the pot thoroughly with a towel. You’ll have an easier time cleaning your dutch oven when it’s still hot, so wash it as soon after cooking as possible.

drydry

Hand Dry:

Never let cast iron cookware drip dry or stay wet for extended periods. Immediately after rinsing it (or after boiling water), completely dry your dutch oven with paper towels or a dedicated cast iron cloth. Cast iron cookware has a seasoned coating that will blacken the cloth you use to dry it. Use paper towels or a dedicated cast iron cloth instead of your best kitchen towels.

oiloil

Oil After Each Use:

Place the dutch oven on the stovetop, set the burner to medium-low, and heat the pot until all traces of water have evaporated. Add a half teaspoon of vegetable or flaxseed oil. Use paper towels to coat the inside of the pot with the oil, then continue to wipe the surface with oiled towels until it’s black and smooth. Oil the surface lightly after each cleaning. Flaxseed oil is the best choice for seasoning cast iron cookware. However, since you’re just giving the coating a quick touch-up instead of full re-seasoning, it’s OK to go with vegetable oil.

HIGH-GRADE CAST IRON: Crafted with premium cast iron for excellent heat conduction and exceptional durability.
OPTIMAL HEAT RETENTION: Superior heat retention ideal for slow-cooking, simmering, and braising.
VERSATILE COOKING: Suitable for stovetops, ovens, and campfires, offering consistent and impressive results.
THREE-LEGGED DESIGN: The three-legged design offers stability and easy positioning over campfires or coals, ensuring an excellent user experience for campers and hikers who appreciate convenient cooking solutions.
LIP LID DESIGN: The unique lip lid design enhances airflow and allows for even cooking while providing the convenience of a standalone skillet or griddle.

    Huge…..
I suspected this thing was going to be big but…Jesuses it’s huge.! The weight of it is something else, she’s no backpacking rig.You could have a steer walk past it and just push it in.Its we’ll cast and the lid fits well…no wobbel. Two turkeys will fit right in with room to spare. Its a big one….

  2. Couwk

    Good sized heavy duty pot
Been looking for a large stewing pot for a while, and this Dutch oven fits the need. While I thought it would be deeper, it’s got a wide mouth and base, and that’s great for a large surface area to heat up the contents. It’s heavy, but the cast iron is great for outdoor fire pit cooking, I’ve yet to use it for such, but looking forward to make a good stew on the open fire. These are expensive, but the value for what you get size wise, it’s hard to beat the price.Contacting customer service for assistance is immediate and they are super helpful dealing with any issues and answering questions.

  7. Brian

    Very disappointing
Pot and lid are warped, poorly made, and don’t fit together well. Lid is wobbly and leaves gaps.

  8. Julie Johnson

This Dutch Oven only holds 13-14 quarts, not 16 as advertised. The dimensions are 15″ by 12″ by 6.5″ deep, smaller than stated on the listing. The lid fits poorly. We will keep the item but are disappointed with the smaller size.

  9. Jon plum

It was broken when I opened up the box
