    Great teapot.
I’ve been meaning to get a nice teapot for use at home but not so much glass because I am always skeptical it will break when you pour hot water in it. This is great, and apparently because it is made from iron – it adds tiny amount of iron on your tea every time you use it. Would be great if it actually does if you are iron deficient, but probably won’t be a huge amount. The pot is actually heavy due to it’s iron make – but very nice and fancy. This will be good for gifting to people who loves tea as a house warming or Christmas present. I got the one where it comes with 4 small tea cups. Make sure to dry these properly before storing because it can rust because it is cast iron made. We love using this to brew tea – keeps tea nice and hot for a bit.

    beautiful tea set, responsive seller
beautiful tea sets and accessories, ordered this tea set as a gift. A go to seller for cast iron, I have bought and collected most of their pieces over the years as part of my personal collection, so I can also say their products last. Picking out cast iron items from their collection is a pleasure, for personal use or as gifts for family and friends for weddings, house warming and festival gifting. Cuisiland has a wide and varied collection to chose from and In case of product support or for additional accessories, seller has options and takes suggestions as to packing too. Can definitely recommend this tea set and their other cast iron’s too. Picture of the set with additional accessories of leaf coaster/saucer on the lower right and round coaster/saucers under the cups which are also additional accessories by Cuisiland and perfectly match the tea set. Have included a picture of the perfect packaging which all comes in a box, ready to be gift wrapped if so needed. Overall, Cuisiland is a small business and a definite go to store with great products and a wonderful seller!

Not my style but it’s good
Warning, cast iron pots are heavy. When it’s empty it feels like it is full. But it does keep the tea warmer for longer periods than ceramic pots. The design on they pot and on the cups look good. Love that it comes with a trivet. Nice to have a strainer that can stay in the pot with the lid on. The lid gets hot so he sure to use caution when lifting the lid off to add more hot water. It is easy to clean with just water as per instructions. It is well made to last a lifetime. My biggest con is the style (low profile shape). When full of water, it is easy to spill tea from the spout. Pouring the first cup can be a messy experience. Also almost each pour thereafter, small amounts of tea drops down the spout onto the trivet. Because of this, I am unsure if I wish to keep it or return it.

  5. Guillaume Pelletier

    It’s pretty big
The smaller one only came with 2 cups. That’s a bit disappointing, but the size of 37oz is fine. The mesh sieve is a toss up. I don’t use them anymore however.

    Love it
Love this cast iron tea set. Some things you should know that I looked up:-do not boil water in the cast iron kettle.-boil water separately and add to the cast iron to steep your teaI like the fact that I can reuse the tea leaves throughout the day.

What a treasure! Everything I love about my cast iron pans, in a teapot. Maintains heat very well, and I love the design. If you have a tea lover in your life, this would be the perfect gift!.

  10. Kevin

Very well built/constructed. Keep in mind the cups are cast iron as well and they get HOT! If you wish to drink hot tea out of them you will need a “glove” of some sort.

  11. J.W.

Pros:I like the design and every part seems to be very well made. The plate is nice for setting the pot on when hot and I like to leave the pot sitting out for display when not in use.Cons:The coloring on the actual product was was barely noticeable from the underlying black cast iron. The pictures online looked like like a fairly dark coloring, but were still much more vibrant than on the actual product.I have use this to actually boil the water on the stove but have to watch it very carefully and turn it off just as it starts to steam or else the water comes bubbling and boiling out the spout.

So beautiful! It looks even better in reality than in the photo. So nice!
