This is the perfect size pot for slow cooking soup. I have three kids here and I love making soup. Put all the goodness they need in a bowl of hot soup… perfect! It’s a great way to get them interested in cooking too.Two things you need to know… it’s heavy! I clean mine by hand. Where the lid touches the pot, around the edge of both… there is no enamel. I worry about it rusting. I haven’t seen any yet. But if you take care of your cast iron pots, they’ll last a lifetime. Got my fingers crossed. Cheers

Compramos la de 4 litros y nos parece un buen tamaño para 4 personas.La vdd es genial para hacer pan o cocciones largas o simplemente para pasarla de la estufa al horno o usarla en exteriores. El esmaltado es bastante bueno ya que una vez se nos pego la comida y con un poco de agua caliente y y una esponja normal salió súper rápido algo que probablemente hubiera estropeado otro tipo de olla. El calor se distribuye y lo mantiene uniformemente y hacer pollo o carnes sobre una rejilla dentro de la olla y al horno queda lo más jugoso que te imagines. Creo que todos los que disfrutan cocinar deben tener una o mejor dos en sus casas.

I love this pot! It is so useful and cooks so well. I love that it was easy to wash out even when I burnt a bit on the the bottom. When I made sea food chowder. ( shown in the picture). That served 8 big bowls worth. I’ll be making pulled pork in it tomorrow!
