    Beautiful
Amazon open box item. Ridiculously cheap. Tags still attached, I damaged, unused. Works great for my sourdough.

    Great tool for the kitchen
Beautiful pot and great to cook in. The stews come out perfect. I use it both on stovetop and in the oven for the maximum effect. The only setback (although it has nothing to do with the company or the pot) is the size: I didn’t expect it to be this huge, barely found a place to store it in my tiny kitchen :)For the family of 3-4 and for daily cooking I would recommend a smaller size – 3-5 quarts.

    Great quality
I was skeptical about the size and quality. Absolutely no issue upon arrival. I’m very impressed with the quality of ceramics for this Dutch oven. I love the colour options. I love the size of the oven. By far the best bang for your buck. Other Dutch ovens will run you upwards of $350. This one feels like great quality. Find the colour scheme to match your kitchen and you’ll be thankful you bought this.

    Perfect for bread making
I bought mine about 3 months ago for baking bread. It arrived in perfect condition and my breads come out divine with it. Safe up to 500 F. I have also used it for stews and chili and minestrone and such and so far it is as good as as the the very expensive Le Crueset pots and oval Dutch Oven I own I was bequeathed by by Mother in law. I am going to buy another one for my daughter. I have no idea of about its lifespan, but as far as I’m concerned if lasts 5 years or more I will have gotten my moneys worth without paying hundreds of dollars for the more expensive brand names. Highly recommend if you are on a budget and like to bake bread and need a dutch oven that can withstand a 500F temperature. It is a great bang for the buck. I just wish the only color available when I bought mine was not red. At least if I buy myself another color I’ll know the red one is for bread making!

    Great Value
Heats surprisingly evenly, and maintains temperatures well for the purposes of searing. Food releases from the enamel nicely, but you can build great fond in the bottom of the pot before deglazing. It’s my go to vessel for making anything from chilli, to bolognese sauce, really any big batch of something saucy. I’ve even baked a great loaf of bread in it.When it comes to cleaning and longevity, it’d take a much more careful man than myself to keep it looking brand new. Functionally, it cooks just as well as the day I got it, but aesthetically it’s seen better days. The bottom is stained in a brownish hue, that cannot be cleaned. I’ve tried soaking overnight in a baking soda slurry, and vigorously scrubbing to no avail. There’s a small chip in the enamel of the inside of the lid. I’ve never owned a Le Creuset dutch oven, but I can’t imagine that it would perform much better or stand up to abuse too much better either. For the cost, I think this product is an absolute steal. It’s one of my favourite tools in the kitchen, and I’d immediately look for something to replace it in the event that it broke somehow.

    Durable but not completely non-sticking
It’s not completely nonsticking. My food got burnt and stuck on medium heat on the bottom of the pot. That’s my only issue with the pot. Otherwise, it’s a great product and looks durable.

    A Beautiful Dutch Oven
I already had a dutch oven in the Amazon Basics brand but I wanted one that is slightly bigger than 6 qts. so I could more easily double or triple batches of soup etc. This pot is clearly very good quality. It’s actually a bit lighter than my amazon one. It’s more upright which I find convenient. The handle doesn’t stick up as tall as the amazon one (which is good for the oven to keep it away from the element). The colour is vibrant with no imperfections in the enamel. I’m very happy with it. Now I just need to get some silicone utensils to avoid making superficial marks in the enamel.

    It’s a Dutch Oven
This thing is fantastic! I used it to make sourdough and a big pot of stew, and it worked perfectly for both. Super easy to use and does exactly what I needed. Definitely happy with it!

My husband bought this for me as a gift. I like having it and using it for soups and stews on my cooktop. It is great quality and was a great price. I love this gray/blue color. I love the size too. I wouldn’t go smaller for a family.

I had been looking for a dutch oven for a while now, I felt it might be the missing link in my bread making journey, so after mixed success I decided to buy one.I was looking at 5 quart pots but thought they might be a bit small for me so a 6 quart was my sweet spot.I ended up going for the Tefal 6 quart but then I realised I would have to wait 3 weeks to get it in.Being impatient , as I am , I searched for another solution , then after much research I settled on the Crock Pot brand by Sunbeam .The only problem was I had to go with a 7 quart which is about 6.6 litres. This was right on my price point.I didn’t want to go ultra cheap and I didn’t want to pay a premium because it was made in France and after all, is the brand name going to make much difference in cooking performance with an inert object of the same design and characteristics. The pot arrived nicely packaged and with no damage a nice bright red.It is made of cast iron and enamel and is manufactured for Sunbeam in China. The edge of the pot where the lid meets the edge of the pot is bare iron which makes sense as there will be friction and continued lifting and dropping could lead to an enamel edge breaking. The handles are nice and wide and you can get a good grip on them .The lid carries dimples which helps spread the condensation evenly when it drops back into whatever you are cooking.I have seen this design on pressure cookers .My first use of the pot was making a sour dough bread.Unfortunately mine was too hydrated , so was hard to form, none the less I used some cooking paper and lifted it into the pot.I placed it in the oven set at 230CThe pot itself heated up very quickly and after 25 minutes I lifted the lid to see that my bread had risen .I left the lid off for another 15 minutes and then removed the bread which actually turned out a lot better than many of my previous attempts before I had bought this pot.All in all I can see many uses for this pot from slow cooking to braising .It is heavy and feels like quality coming with a limited Life time warranty ,which basically means if it is faulty or breaks in normal use without the operator causing the problem you will be able to make a warranty claim.

My husband is a chef and he’s made so many delicious foods in this pot. I was going to buy the more expensive brand but figured why not try this much more affordable, yet just as nice product first. I love the rich red color. It holds the heat and is very heavy and well made product. We’ve had it for more than a year and it’s still as nice as the day we got it. Oh! And it’s SO easy to clean!
