I have 2 large crockpots and intended to buy just a warming tray. But the price for these 2 crockpots was on par with the warming trays. This set is great for cooking for a small family, side dishes, appetizers, etc. My husband has many musicians over every other Saturday. So I cook the main meal in my big crockpots and use these smaller ones for sides, desserts, or alternative dish. They are simple to use and work great. Only used them once so far and found them to be most helpful with no problems. This set is a good buy. It’s sturdy and actually each pot holds more than I expected.

It is easier to put in the dish washer because the two sides are much smaller than a traditional slow cooker. Able to try two recipes at once or the same recipe with small variations to experiment. It is also nice when you want to use one side to cook a smaller meal and not have a huge pot to clean like the bigger slow cookers.

I wasn’t sure about using this slow cooker for keeping soup hot during our holiday open house, but it worked perfectly. I heated the soup on the stove and then transferred it to the ceramic crock pots and set the dial on keep warm. The soup stayed hot throughout the party. The slow cooker was easy to set up and use, and very easy to clean. The only problem was using the lid holders which made it more difficult to ladle out the soup since the lids hung down in the way of the crock opening when they were on the lid holders. A small thing and doesn’t change my high rating. Recommended!

Was perfect for a small pot of chili and beef stew. Temp on high was very hot and low cooked perfectly. Definitely worth it to make 2 meals at once. Will also be great for parties for sides
