Best stock pot I’ve ever had!
My pot arrived in perfect condition. It’s quite heavy but works great. I used mine for the first time last night, I cooked 4 club packs of lean hamburger meat which I pressure canned 14 pints. It was a welcome change to have a pot large enough for all the ingredients and mix it without it landing on the stove. The heat distribution is even and heats up with a low flame. Nothing stuck to the bottom! It was tricky to wash because it doesn’t fit in the sink real well so most of the washing was on the counter. The little discolouration can easily be removed with vinegar and a bit of warm water, then rinse with plain water and wipe. The outside I just polished it with paper towel and vinegar and wala looks like new. I highly recommend this pot to anyone considering it, the quality is excellent, worth every penny!

Nice 18/10 thick SS stock pot
We were using an aluminum 24 qt pot prior to this and were concerned with aluminum leakage so we looked for a stainless steel pot to replace it. We found this 30qt pot that was wider and the same height as our 24 at pot. This pot is gorgeous and perfectly proportioned for making cabbage rolls and chicken broth. The pot has a nice thickness and heaviness to it which in our mind is a quality pot.Price wise it is reasonably priced.

    Looks very solid
First I bought a pot from Canadian Tire. That pot started to leak just after two years of occasional use. I replaced it with Cooks Standard Stainless Steel Stockpot 20 Quart. The new pot looks very solid, especially at the bottom.

Great pot just watch the lid handle.
This is a great pot. Its huge and great for cooking large meals to freeze. Very easy to clean. The handle getting hot is the only issue. An oven mit or cooking glove from the seller would have us at 5 stars. The handle heat is the only issue.

    excellent stockpot
We got this pot to do laundry stripping on our ceramic stovetop, to keep the solution of detergents hot for several hours. It’s perfect!

A gift for an avid spaghetti sauce maker
This was a gift for my sister who likes to cook big batches of spaghetti sauce. This is a lot of work. But, her sauce is delicious. The stockpot looks very nice. It’s big and sturdy. The sauce didn’t stuck. After she had put her sauce in Mason jars, she used the stockpot for canning. She was happy to save time on the process because of the size of the pot. She will have it for her lifetime. Best gift I could offer her… for my benefit! 😉

Fantastic HUGE 30 quart stock pot
Fantastic HUGE pot with lid. This stockpot worked without issue on my induction stove and heated up evenly. I would not call this light weight…is is a heavy duty, well constructed, solid stock pot that will last a lifetime and considering the size and being induction friendly….fantastic value for money paid.

    Great pot—it’s huge!
A huge pot for making soups, canning etc. I wanted a big pot, and this was even a bit bigger than I needed, but great for the mass production of large meals. If you are looking to feed an army, this pot’s for you…it’s great value for money, with even heat distribution. Very easy to clean afterwards. It is a great pot!

This review is for the 30 quart stock pot. I do BIG cooking. I have a pressure canner that holds 29 quart jars. I use my wonderful stock pot for slow cooking in my oven. It fits perfectly in it. I have no negative comments regarding this pot. It really is perfect and a pure joy to use. It is very heavy duty with a thick bottom that spreads heat very nicely. I do NOT have burnt food at the bottom. The handles are VERY securely mounted in such a way that gives easy access for cleaning. The lid is heavy duty and fits the pot perfectly. I have made several 27=28 quart stews in this now. There are no defects observed of any kind. No staining has occurred. Very easy to clean after heavy use. This pot will last my lifetime and then some. The only shame is that I put off buying a great pot like this for so long. I highly recommend this pot without reservations. Great value for the price I paid.

I am a farmer. This means that I also can and freeze items from the garden for the winter. For a while now I have been frustrated when trying to do large batches of vegetables for freezing or canning. None of my pots were made for a large batch. This stock pot was recommended to me as great size and with lots of fantastic features. I trusted the recommendation enough to go forward with this purchase. I am so glad I did and here is why.First the size is huge. I bought the 30-quart size, so I knew it was going to be big enough for anything I was cooking. It was. The best thing about the size was that it is not tall and narrow. It is shorter and wide. The reason that this makes this pot so perfect is that the tall and narrow pots, when sitting under a range hood, creates a vacuum between the pot and the range hood that causes a nasty vibration in the range hood that will destroy a range hood in a few attempts to use both at once. Ask me I know as I had to replace a range hood after it was destroyed by using a tall stockpot under it.Next this pot has a heavy bottom. It is advertised as a 3 mm bottom with an impact aluminum disk imbedded for more even distribution of heat. What that means is that this pot carries the heat from the center cooking area, all the way out to the sides of the pan. EVENLY! My first use of this pan was using it with a bushel of tomatoes, cooking them down to make tomato paste. I have tried this before and have run into the problem of the center of the pan, getting hot and burning the tomatoes while the outside ring does not cook properly. Using this pan, I got no burning in the center. The tomatoes cooked evenly and cleanly. Plus, they cooked down to paste consistency in half the time of other tries. This brings me to talk about the lid of this pot. This lid is shaped so that it holds steam moisture completely. This caused me to have to slightly set the lid offside so that the steam could escape. While this was no problem and was expected, I have never had a stockpot that held the steam this well. It was great! This pot is heavy! (remember I said it was 30-quarts in size) It weighs 12 pounds empty. Filled, it is not something you want to lift off the burner often. Keep this in mind when purchasing this pot, but if this pot is so fantastic, I am sure that the smaller version of this same pot will be too. Just keep in mind the weight when choosing what size to purchase. This stockpot looks good and cleans up just as pretty as it was when I first got it. It is a wonderful addition to a kitchen. I highly recommend it.
