This planter has seemingly everything going for it:- quality ceramic in a really pleasing shade of blue/teal. It is also smooth inside, making it easy to clean.- can be used as a self-watering planter or a regular planter (they include pieces for both options within the package â think, cotton string for self-water, mesh to cover drain holes for regular planter use).- it is HUGE and sturdy for larger plants, making this an impressive item at this price point (good planters from our local garden centers are so expensive now. This is seriously a great deal.)- the terracotta colored base blends seamlessly with the plain terracotta pots in my collection. I also love how deep it is as a drip tray, erasing concerns of water spilling over and onto wood surfaces when top-watering.This planter is pretty, user-friendly, an excellent price for the size and quality and comes with options to suit your needs. Since the 90s –
I like this ceramic planter. The self watering feature isn’t perfect but works. Especially good for plants that like drier soil (which are most since overly wet soil causes lots of problems).It’s solid and looks good. It’s big enough and deep enough for any number of houseplants. The reservoir underneath the pot is good for several days away.

We used this pot for our snake plants. They fit this pot perfectly. The size is great for most house plants. It seems well made and should last for years. The pot holds water and decreases labor of watering regularly. The construction is good and appealing to the eye.
