this item is for several sizes
I used this for making Chili , roasts, spaghetti , stews, it works on all larger meals as well as small ones great because there is no mess on my slow cooker great item to have I would not be without it .

  3. Stuart

Works but not as user friendly as advertised
Purchased as we have issues with the weight of the weight of the main pot is too heavy to take out of the slow cooker. They are easy to clean, used twice will update in another couple of months.

Ok, here is the bad: it is not very easy to clean because it is pretty floppy (I hand wash; the dishwasher might work better), and it has retained some of the odor of the food cooked in it, and it is a little stained from the turmeric I use.Now the good: it works really well, my actual crock in my slow cooker is protected from being dropped (yeah, it has happened, which is why I bought this in the first place), and it much easier to wash than the crock as well, as I have carpal tunnel and arthritis and lifting that heavy thing to rinse in the sink is nearly impossible for me. And it has little loops on the sides that go around the protruding edges of the crock to help keep it in place while cooking and to hang dry after washing. It fits my 8 qt Beautiful (isn’t that the Drew Barrymore brand?) slow cooker perfectly, except the steam gathers in the lid and sometimes leaks over the side of the cooker instead of back into the crock, so I put a cookie sheet under my slow cooker to catch the drips, like a half ounce or so of water, not much, but it took a bit to figure out where that puddle came from.Oh and I have seen pictures of these liners full of food sitting on a table as if you can serve from them: hahahahaha, no. These are floppy silicone liners, kind of like a condom for your slow cooker. I can not imagine you could pull them from the cooker full of food without it spilling all over the place – and I have never tried. But as liners, they rock, they’re reusable and nontoxic, and pretty darn inexpensive for the service they provide. A really good buy in my opinion.I use it to cook my dog food about 4 times a week, and it has been holding up really well for the past several months I have had it. I have only used it on the low setting, which is hot enough to simmer so I have not needed the high setting, so I can’t speak as to the heat it can tolerate, but it seems that it could handle it just fine..I don’t use a slow cooker much except for making dog food, but when I do use it to cook for the humans in the house, I just use the other liner (there are two in the package) because my dogs eat meat and we don’t, and there is a meaty kind of odor to the one used for dog food, which is normal.Overall, I have no real complaints about these liners, use them a lot and am really glad I bought them.

Works very well, seals the lid better and easy to clean. Make sure you use these right side out! (the writing goes on the outside) The fit is a tiny bit off the first use, but gets better the second time you use it.

keeps the pot clean and makes it so nothing gets baked on the dish. Still recommend that you clean it after use because there is some condensation that builds up. Pain in the tush to clean due to there not being any real structure to it when you dry it you need to wipe it down or it will not dry.

  7. Dawn Booher

Not as pictured. I expected them to be sturdier and shaped like the crock of the crock pot. They do not stand on their own. They are very thin and just lay in the pot loosely like the plastic bag type liners, they are not “crock pot shaped”. They do keep the crock clean so I will keep them but the picture is definitely not the item I received. They also stained with the first use.

At first, it seemed ok. The liners fit and stayed in place as I started the cooking process. I cooked chicken in broth for chicken stew. All was fine until I removed the chicken to shred. While I was shredding the chicken, the liner eased down into the broth. The liner is so flimsy that it struggled to stay in place without the weight and bulk of heavy food in the crock. Once the liner flopped into the broth, I had no choice but to remove it. Broth was under the liner, and having it inside the crock was pointless. I ended up cooking without a liner at all. Then came clean-up time. I washed the liner by hand three times as thoroughly as possible and could not get the smell out. The liners are extremely thin and floppy and very hard to clean. I ended up putting them in the trash. I had no confidence that the dishwasher could clean it any better with how floppy and cumbersome the liners were.
