    A beautiful little skillet
    This skillet came fully pre-seasoned and ready to cook in it, but my stovetop has a ceramic glass cover, so the logo on the outside surface of the pan was scratching it. Also the bottom on the inside was just a tiny a bit domed in the center and oil and other liquids would pool in the perimeter. I had to polish the bottom on both sides with a 60 grit and a 200 grit sanding pad and then coat it with oil once to re-season bare areas. Otherwise, it is a perfect little skillet, cooks very well, completely non-stick with all challenging foods (fried eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes and crepes, skillet-fried potatoes), very lightweight, ergonomic design. I loved it so much that I ordered a second one in 8 inch size for pancakes and a 12″ as well.Chef Collection is the best line of cast iron cookware from Lodge, I think. Their Blacklock series is even more lightweight, but also 60% more expensive.

    It’s a solid cast iron pan. It works as expected and is a perfect size for making a single-serve omelette.Price wise, I was shocked to find my local store in Vancouver actually sells it a bit less & regretted not supporting them instead of shopping on Amazon!

    Perfect Even Heat
    Very nice pan. I use it for small meals and to make crepes. Cleans up easily with hot water and a brush. I have other cast iron pans and I’m sold on them! You just have to know how to care for them properly.

    Awesome for cooking my eggs or grilling a sandwich.
    I highly recomend it.It’s the perfect size for me to cook two eggs over easy almost daily and fried up toasted egg, ham and cheese sandwiches.The curved and low sides makes cooking and flipping your food very easy.It’s become very nicely seasoned over the past three weeks since I bought it.It’s great cooking with it and it cleans up like a charm too.Lodge cast iron at it’s best.Treat it well and you’ll have a lifetime use out of it.
