I love using these Ceramic Kitchen Scissors to prepare my toddlers meals and cut her food in to bite sized pieces, however, they also come in handy for general meal prep. They are perfect for fruits, cooked veggies and proteins and do a fantastic job at cutting green onions and herbs. I have found that we have used a lot more fresh herbs since we got these scissors since it is much quicker and creates less mess than cutting them with a knife and cutting board. I can cut them up over the food to add them straight into my dishes.The blades are made from ceramic (zirconium oxide) so they are very strong, crack resistant and won’t ever rust. They are safe to use on food and are free from lead, BPA, PVC, Cadmium, phthalates and formaldehyde. When you open and close these scissors, the blades glide very smoothly over each other without catching or rubbing. They also have rounded tips for safety purposes and would make suitable safety scissors for kids who are learning how to cut. The handles are very ergonomic and have a coating so your hands don’t slip.They come with a blade cover which is great for protecting the blades when they are stored in a drawer.
