Good protection but not a perfect fit
Nice and thick silicone. Works for moving pan while on stove but picking up needs a longer handle cover for better leverage but longer might burn… So I still need to hold the opposite side of the pan which requires another potholder

Picked these up to prevent that quick burn on the cast iron. Sometimes your running and forget the towel grab and your pooched. The heat prevention is enough to stop a burn from forgetfulness but you still need a wrap to do the main cooking on a steak. The quality seems good and the fit was perfect on my lodge set cast iron. Would buy again.

I like that these work because a lot of the times I would touch the handle of my cast iron skillet (forgetting it’s hot) as I don’t use it everyday… Nice to have but do NOT put them in the oven.. no, I didn’t do that but I read on the reviews not to do that. I like that they fit the handles nicely .. watch out for the size though… I put mine in a 10″ & 12″ skillet and fits great! Anything smaller they may be too small? Will buy again for a gift 4 sure.
