There’s a lot to like about this cookwear set.– High quality ceramic makes for a VERY slippery surface that is easy to cook on and very easy to clean. The ceramic coating is fantastic – nothing sticks to it. Eggs slide so easily that I can flip eggs without using a spatula.– Well-crafted and well-made. Looks good and works well.– Heats up well (and evenly) on gas burners. Bought this now so that it would work on both the gas burners we now use, and will work on our next stove which will have an induction cooktop.The variety of sizes makes for a very usable set.– These are not lightweight pans.– The special cleaning sponges are a good addition to the set.– Not cheap, but so well made that it is worth the price. BUT at this price, it should include a lid for the mid-size pan, too.One issue: The surface is so slippery that sometimes it is difficult to get the thicker blade of a silicone spatula under the food to flip it.

I’m really surprised at how heavy these are! The lid on the saute pan is solid and hefty. I just followed the directions included for washing and care and I was off to the races. Eggs are a staple here, so I cooked up a few eggs to see how slick the non-stick is. The instructions say to cook at a lower temperature to help preserve the ceramic nonstick finish, so I let the pan heat up about to what I normally do for eggs and started cooking. I’m happy with the nonstick surface, but I’m not sure if I like these more or less than the hexclad pan I have.
Money I don’t have –
These pans are pretty darn nice. They probably better be nice for the price. I’ve never had pans like this before. They work pretty darn well and look really pretty. They look so nice, it is almost a shame to cook with them. They are almost a work of art. Kind of like an investment. I’m sure these will last many years. These are quite heavy and very well built. I’ve used one of the pans a couple times now. Nothing sticks to it at all. These are pretty darn nice. I’m not sure I would ever get them again though. There is no way I could ever justify spending this kind of money on frying pans of all things. If you can justify spending this kind of money on pans then I don’t think you would be disappointed. These are 5 stars all day long and night.

This review is on the Caraway 4-Piece Fry Pan Set – (12″ Saute Pan with lid, 10.5” & 8”) – Black. I love this set and the color. As you can see in the attached pictures, they just look impressive, even sitting in the packaging. And they are heavy, so they feel like they’re built to last. I wish the 10.5″ came with a lid, as I see it being my primary pan. I bought a glass one with a gold handle on Amazon for $60. If I have any gripe, it would be with the cost. But I am a big believer in buying once and crying once. Also, anything of quality costs more typically. The pictures are from smallest to biggest. This set was listed at $465.00 when I got it.

This set is GORGEOUS. I love the look of the black pans with the gold accent. They look so lovely on my stove. I love that they are non-stick, but also ceramic and non-toxic. They are also SO easy to clean. Nothing I’ve cooked has stuck to the pans. I haven’t even had to soak these pans like others that I have in order to get them thoroughly cleaned. If I do have an issue in the future, each pan came with a cleaning pad to help get out tough stains.My only complaint is the price. It seems very steep for three pans and one lid, even though the set is very nice and is probably all you really need for your kitchen. They seem very durable, so I think that they will last a long time.
