I bought this for using it at workplace. I like to practice Tai chi during my lunch break. Before, if I left my headset at home, then I had to do Tai chi without music. Now I have two headsets. I keep this one in my cubby so that I don’t have to worry. This headset is cheaper than my another one but it works perfectly well. The sound quality is very good. Excellent telephone earpiece for the price, Good background noise reduction
Some of the other reviews here seem a little prefabricated to me, this is not a headset for listening to music. There are no crisp upper notes or deep bass. There is no stereo sound because there is only one earpiece. What this is would be a headset for making and receiving telephone calls or doing voice dictation. And in that context this is actually an excellent buy.I tested the voice quality several times with other people as well as with voice recording software and listen to the playback and the quality is excellent. It says good or better than you can expect from your cell phone, crisp and clear for the other person to hear. This was true even with a modest amount of noise in the background which was not heard in the recording at all. So the noise cancellation is doing its job and will eliminate a modest amount of background noise without interfering with the quality of the voice transmission.The headset is a tiny bit quieter at its maximum level than some of the others I’ve tried, but the audio level is quite adequate for phone calls. I could clearly hear the other person with no troubles.The earpiece did not suit my ear all that well and it was not as comfortable as some of the other earbuds I’ve used over the years. It was not bad or uncomfortable, just not as comfortable. It does however use a standard 4.5 mm earbud so any aftermarket earbud meant for 4.5 mm earpieces will work, and there’s a million of them. I put one in from kbear and it works much better. The earpeice is still not ‘invisible’ but it’s comfortable enough.The sound quality is quite comparable to my voyager legend which just passed away and is comfortable enough to wear for reasonably long periods of time without ear fatigue especially if you have the right earbudConsidering the price this is an excellent choice for anybody looking for a dedicated telephone earpiece for clear audio or for Zoom meetings or voice dictation. I was very pleased with the purchase and I think to do better you would have to be spending over a couple hundred dollars
