It looked good when I took it out, I was hopeful. However it leaked immediately with the first test use.To be fair, the return was easy and I just dropped it off to Staples.

Not as good as original blender jar.
Doesn’t cut frozen fruit as well. The replacements from Vitamix are not as good as the originals either anymore and they are so expensive. Can’t speak to durability yet.This has been in constant use for a year now and I’m pretty happy with it considering the low price.

I had a old vitamix blender sitting in a closet because the container was missing. This one fits and works perfectly. Plastic has a light blue tint and the lid needs some time to ease in. Once it is sealed correctly it will not leak or spill. Lid is made out of hard rubber material, not like the soft rubber from vitamix. but after using it, it will get a bit softer for better seal. Blades are the same as the original, so you will get the same cutting and mixing results.
