Mr. AmazonDrew –
Excellent for the price and does the job
I bought the Vigor2 for my son to help encourage him to be more active and monitor his daily steps and sleep. He has taken to it quite well. The product has performed as advertised and battery life has held up quite well. He can customize the screen graphics and use the app on his iPad to track his progress.. It’s simple to use and has a nice dashboard showing the details.Recently the band ripped apart at the top as my son was removing it. This happened less than three months of ownership and was rendered unusable. I contacted BIGGERFIVE not expecting much. To my surprise, customer service responded within the hour and offered to send me a replacement at no cost!!! In addition to a great product, you get the support of a company that stands behind their products. Great value, great product and great service.

Very good service but.
The company provides a very good service. It is a nice brand, etc. The watch is even better than the Google equivalent. But we have troubles, once the watch doesn’t work anymore after 5 months, they changed it, now the special wire is fried… fortunately I have another one, but the child seems upset. When, buy it but know you can have issues.

Water resistant, setup was easy, tracks well
My son loves his new watch. It’s well made, soft silicone band and the watch piece displays information well. Setup was super easy to do even for a kid. Did not require any complicated parent-child accounts like the Fitbit. Everything was done via the app. You can setup alarms with predefined meanings. It does not have gps so it only tracks heartbeat and steps but it’s great for a young child. 1 week in and we’re satisfied.

Didn’t work as expected
I bought 2 for my kids last Christmas. Pairing it with my phone was a hassle. They were always disconnecting and I always have to disconnect one to view the other on my phone and the steps will always reset midday which wasn’t appealing to my son.Fast forward to couple months after, both watches stopped working.

App is poorly designed
Have had Vigor 2 for just over a month. The watch is quite nice, lightweight & screen is easy to read. We bought it for the small band size and to only track steps taken and continuous heart rate. All other tracking is turned off. With those features turned on the battery lasts about 2 1/2 days. The steps taken seems to read about 5% higher compared to other GPS devices we’ve had for years. Probably close enough for children. The heart rate tracker seems to be very accurate when compared to other pulse tracking devices. On the watch, getting the heart rate to show up is painful. They say it takes 4-8 seconds but we’ve had it take over 20 and it seems you need to stay very still. Not very useful, especially for children, since by then the HR has probably gone down if it was high, say after exercising. The app is pretty rough. On ours, the continuous heart rate updates fine all day to the app but between the hours of 7pm and midnight it defaults to some unknown values, sometimes the prior days but then fixes itself after midnight. Technical support has been unable to fix. We’ve done all of the unbinding/restarting/reinstalling steps many times. If you need to reinstall the app as part of trouble shooting you loose all the data that you had. For us, the heart rate tracking is important so our kludgy work around is to take a photo of each days activity (the following am when all of the prior day is available) with a separate phone to keep the data. There is no way on the app to send any of the data with an e-mail and something like a PDF file.

App easy to use, battery life not great
Bought for my 10 year old. She said the alarm didn’t work, IDK if I believe her. The App you need to download was user friendly, as well as operation of the watch. Also, we had it on the cat face which is super cute. Downside is the battery life is about 2 days. Which mght be normal, I guess? But my fitbit goes for 10 days, so having to rechare this one every 2 days seems like a letdown. But it’s all moot now because the watch part fell out a couple weeks ago while on my kid’s wrist. Didn’t quite make it to 3 months.

I got this for my step daughters birthday.. she wanted an Apple Watch, to count her steps, like I do, but being 8, that was not happening.. she LOVES the watch and loves that she can change the faces, the work out loses and that she can count her steps. The app was really easy to download and I set it up on my phone quick. The only thing I didn’t like was that it only time I could check on her watch was when she was connected to the same Wi-Fi, as me. Other than that, it disconnected

This is a quick product review:List of pros:- product the material is really good quality and feels soft- The screen is very responsive- It reads the data great when fastened properly around your wrist- My son is quite small and skinny but it looks really nice on his wrist which I found problematic with other smart watches I purchased in the past. Refer to the pictures I have included in this review- Battery life in our case is on average 5 days which is amazing- App was easy to install and we had no problem with pairing it with the watchList of cons:One problem I found with this watch is when fastened too tight it had bruised my son’s wrist a bit. And the reason why I had to do it that way it’s because the sensors attached to the watch were not reading the data properly when he had it done in a more lose way on his wrist. We moved it slightly up as per the pictures attached in this review and this resolved the issue but my son claims it was more comfortable to have it positioned on his wrist.Overall the watch is nice and worth the money. Personally I would recommend it.
