HUGE!
This thing is HUGE!! It doesn’t fit properly on a large stove burner but still cooks food pretty well. I’ve used it at least a dozen times already. The nice thing is you can cook a lot of food at once! We bought this to mainly use over the fire when camping as we camp a lot. It will serve its purpose well! Got a good price on it!

These are pretty good pans for the price.
Lodge brand ones are too expensive in Canada, so I ordered these instead. The quality is pretty good, the only complaint I have is that I found the pre-seasoning to be a little thin, so I seasoned them again myself before I used them. I would recommend that others do the same. They are quite heavy for a 12″ pan, heavier than my 12″ T-Fal cast iron pan. I had no issues with food sticking the first time I used them. You really can’t ask for more.Update:It’s getting close to two years since I bought these. They are the workhorse pans on my stovetop and they’ve held up very well. The roughness has smoothed to a nice non-stick surface with wear/build up of seasoning. They still sit flat and look great. Great pans, I wish they would get the 12” ones back in stock so I can gift them to family. I just bought a 15” because of how much I like the 12” ones I have. Would buy again.

Decent pan for the price
I have an induction cook top and this pan works good on it.The pan arrived yesterday, so I do not have a longevity/durability experience with it yet.Cooked pancakes and a steak with it. Both the pancakes and the steak cooked well and didn’t stick to the pan. A 13 oz steak easily fit into the pan. The pan also handled the oven temperature for cooking the steak.Clean up is easy. Of course the pan is heavy so be careful when handling as it will do some damage to kitchen finishes if dropped.Like most new cast iron it is a very rough pan to the touch as they are not sand blasted smooth. So applying seasoning and wiping clean is rough on the cloth you use.The pre seasoning seems ok as nothing has stuck to it yet, but I will definitely be seasoning it again real soon.Black residue is being shed by the pan when I rub it with a cloth. I assume this is a combination of the preseasoning as well as some iron shedding?

A lot of skillet for the money!
I received the skillet yesterday, an entire day earlier than expected, which was a great surprise. I used it this morning to make a big breakfast and was thrilled with the results. It cooks exactly the way an old school cast iron skillet should- evenly, without sticking and with great, rich browning of the food. It doesn’t hurt that it really looks the part too! And done let the slightly rough finish fool you, this thing is a cooking machine. The bacon, eggs and hash I made in it didn’t even think about sticking. Highly recommended if a Lodge or other brand name skillet isn’t in your budget. It needs to be said that this thing is HEAVY too, so as long as you don’t warp it by heating it too quickly or running cold water in it right after cooking, it should last long enough to pass on to your kids! You won’t be disappointed!!

Very large and heavy
Good quality but I was not expecting it to be so large. If you have a family and want plenty of capacity this is for you. As a single guy I returned it.

Great Cast Iron Pan – Fantastic Quality & Price!
This cast iron pan is excellent—heavy-duty, well-made, and holds heat beautifully. The seasoning was decent right out of the box, but like all cast iron, it gets even better with use. Perfect for searing, baking, and slow cooking. At this price point, it’s a steal!Unfortunately, I’m returning it because it’s a bit too big for my needs. That said, if you’re cooking for a family or meal prepping, this would be perfect. Highly recommend if you need a large, high-quality cast iron at a great value!

Solid pan at the most reasonable price. It distributes the heat evenly. It can fry 3kgs of meat at a time. You need big burner stove for it.

Good build quality, skillet was pre-seasoned and priced competitively. There’s a lot of confusion regarding induction compatibility. The base is not flat, so it won’t work efficiently.Don’t buy cast iron and/or carbon steel products if you’re not ready to devote time and care. They need proper seasoning and care in washing and storing. Otherwise, they will rust like so many others have complained. It’s iron, it will rust if exposed to water. You need to wipe it dry and heat a little, then spread/wipe a very thin layer of oil before you store it. And if the seasoning wears off, you need to re season it. I personally went through the seasoning process multiple times on this skillet even though it’s pre-seasoned.I’ve gone through many, many sets of non stick utensils. Finally shifting to cast iron and carbon steel. They’re not as non stick as the chemically coated ones, you would need a little oil. Teflon and the like are non stick even without any oil. But they suit my style of cooking. Minimal oil, lots of searing and sauteing. And nothing sticks if there’s a little oil that’s heated enough.I won’t be buying this brand again because I use both gas and induction. It’s stupid to have such a big logo on the bottom that totally removes induction as an option and serves no purpose. But if you plan on using gas only, recommended.
