If you’re buying this cook-set, you most likely understand what you’re getting and the quality that you’re paying for. This is high quality cookware for people who value good engineering and equipment that is built to last your lifetime. The set even includes a card to register for a lifetime warranty, so the company does stand behind their products. It is made in USA and arrives extremely well packaged. Now, it does appear to be hand finished at the factory, so the final finish has some variation and may not be perfectly uniform. I uploaded a photo of two handles that are slightly different levels of smoothness. Everything is nicely polished and the branding is engraved or machined. The style is very nice, this cookware looks expensive and would be right at home in a million dollar kitchen. The strip of exposed copper is really beautiful and rich. It is the actual exposed portion of the copper core construction and will turn green with exposure. The cookware cooks extremely evenly and is well controlled on my electric cooktop. I miss my gas stove, but these do significantly better controlling heat than any cheap aluminum non-stick pan will. Obviously these are not non-stick, so coat as necessary. The sizes are very well thought out and the shapes lend to easy cooking.Cleaning is accomplished with soap and water, with some Bar-tenders helper for very stubborn and stuck food. Follow the instructions on the manufacturer website, they are very specific and clear. As long as I take proper care of this cookware, it will last for the rest of my life. Well worth the money.

I had really high expectations for these babies. As soon as I started coolimg on the pan the meat started sticking way too much. I was hoping to not use oil but ended up having to do so. They are very well made though. They are heavy and pretty tough. The handles don’t get hot and we’re easy to grip. The color is great and heat up quite fast. I was hoping they would also be non-stick but can’t have everything right? Overall good product.

I received the pot set and was pleasantly surprised. The quality is very good and the price/performance ratio is very high, which is beyond my expectation! This is the first time I feel that the new pot can be used so smoothly. This pot is really easy to use and does not stick when cooking. The All-Clad copper core 5-layer stainless steel cookware set is very beautiful, clean and beautiful, and the pot body is very light. After receiving it, I immediately fry the salmon and steak with a frying panThere was no oil and it was completely non-stick and not black. It is a perfect score! When using the stew pot, I feel that the bottom heats up very quickly. When the lid is opened, the water drops can flow down quickly. I don’t have to burn my hands anymore. I feel very satisfied.

Sleek stainless = beauty & easy cleaning; Copper = responsive heating; These pots = QUALITY___I am no stranger to All-Clad: Master Chef; D3 product line; D5 product line and now this copper series. I am no stranger to All-Clad customer service either (an issue long, LONG ago with a non-stick pan). I am sold on their quality and support. I have used All-Clad on electric, gas and induction stovetops. I was happy to have the opportunity to review this line as represented by this set of 5 items. Because of this experience I will stick with what this line offers largely in regard to other All-Clad lines, but I do have to devote at least 1 paragraph to All-Clad products overall. This is coming from a home cook with experience with Staub, le Creuset, Cuisinart, among other brands of pans–I am not new to cooking!.___ALL_CLAD IN GENERAL Some companies make a cheap line, a medium line and maybe a premium line. Their cheap is often cheap in every way including performance. All-Clad is different. ALL of their pans rank as differently featured PREMIUM pans IMHO. An aluminum All-Clad (SS interior) is built in the finest way and with ample quantities & qualities of metal to make an excellent pan. It may be less expensive than the next All-Clad line, but not because they make a poorer performing pan on the burner. The difference is more that the next “line” has added a different feature (like also lining the outside with SS) or an excellent but expensive material (like copper), or some other refinement (different handle or lip), etcetera. The different product lines each seem to eke out just a bit more performance and here and there a small improvement to a feature. Think about Do you want:–High quality heating but weight is an issue for you? You are going to be looking at D3/maybe D5 or newest carbon line.–Purely performance driven & you either don’t mind an occasional polishing of copper bits (or you let it age)? This copper line might be for you.–Nuanced features (an improved drip reducing lip or an ever-so slight change to the handles) matters to you? Not D3 line, but D5/Copper/ or the newest carbon line for you.–You love performance and features but $$ are make your dream choices seem impossible? Consider a piecemeal approach: Best dream choice of either a straight sided or sloped saute pan for your burner size is where I would start, because that is where small differences in pan quality MATTER the most. Make do with what you have/can find and build your ideal collection as you can–your pieces do not need to match! Each cook has their own priorities, and I have always found All-Clad first makes QUALITY then they go for enough variations to satisfy different combinations of priorities. You won’t go wrong with an All-Clad pan, and they will likely outlast both you and your children.___THIS LINE OF ALL-CLAD POTS:___So why these pots? Copper is the creme de la creme of heat conduction. It has problems: It is heavy and it ages in appearance quickly, and it’s expensive. Even if I had the money I would never want pots with all copper exterior as long as I also have to keep them polished. I love the durability of Stainless steel (SS) for pan interiors and exteriors. This All-Clad line gives the heat conduction of copper and adds the benefits of SS. They even give you a peek of the copper on the outside: a glimpse of the actual copper from the core can be seen on the side–that much copper I can handle!___The D5 line and this line have lips on the pots that make pouring off liquids neater. The D3 pours “okay” but tends to result in a drip down the outside of the pan–not a deal breaker, but this line (and D5 above) have a pot lip that ends the pour neatly.___Copper adds to the weight, and these ARE heavier pots than the other lines I mentioned. They appear to have thought of that and they lightened the handle a wee bit (there is a hole near the connection), but they added back that bit of material in the handle just above that point. The result is a smooth rounded protrusion placed at just at the perfect spot to give your hand a kind of pivot point to make handling a heavier pot a bit easier–and it’s beautifully done to boot.___As a set, this is a pot with lid and 2 wider pans, one with a lid. I though the lid would fit both wider pans (the sloped saute pan and the straight sided fry pan), but it only fits the straight sided pan. If you try, the lid sits ATOP the saute pan, it does not sit INTO the top edge of the pan. It does cover/rest lightly on the sloped sided pan, but not tightly.___Is having 2 saute/fry pans a good choice? YES, because saute/fry is the action that most benefits from the responsiveness of copper, so they have given you the pans that best showcase the performance of copper.___Isn’t the sauce pan a little small–would wider have been better? Maaaybeee? But maybe not. They are probably trying to balance out usefulness and cost for a starter set–so they seem to have gone narrow but deep. That size is USEABLE for: Someone just starting out, For a family, and for empty nesters. This choice of size also works because many stoves have smaller and larger burners, and having a smaller diameter pot gives you a pot that will work well on the smaller burners, thereby leaving enough space/larger burners on your stove top for the wider pans: You can place all 3 on suitable burners at the same time. For many stoves, doing that with this size saute and fry pan and a wider sauce pan might be a challenge. It’s a well thought out choice–that deep sauce pan is flexible and makes a good match for your smaller burner. In fact, I actually bought this size pot in D5 about a year ago because I found the size so useful. Now I have this size in D5 and in this product line: Clearly I’ve put my money where my mouth is!___You will love cooking on these pans–and, fair warning, your children may fight over them. Mine did just that when I had to give up my Aluminum exterior All-Clad (no longer in their product line up) because I was moving to Induction. (I split the difference–one child got some le Creuset and a duplicate All-Clad pan (down sizing) and the other got the rest of the (aluminum exterior) All-Clad.___5 Stars–no reservations on this rating whatsoever!___I hope you found this review useful.

This set of All-Clad copper core cookware is without a doubt the best cookware I’ve ever had, and it’s gorgeous. The visible copper ring is a great distinctive characteristic of the series, and identifier. Having a copper core to evenly and quickly distribute the heat, with aluminum to further boost rapid heating, with stainless steel outer layers, for easy cleanup, rust-resistance, great searing ability, and induction compatibility, all added to All-Clad’s incredibly solidly constructed and beautiful design are genius! This is great cookware for any cooktop, and lower energy use. We love it, and I’d give it more stars if I could.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
