I ordered this to use in my Ninja Foodie. I love kabobs but usually only make them for the BBQ grill. I have tried making them in my Ninja Grill and they are good but I can not fit but a few. My first impression, I thought this would not hold much food so I intended to return this. I decided to give it a try first and oh boy was I surprised at all the food it held. I used marinated chicken thighs, Bell peppers cut up, Onions quartered, Italian sausage cut into large pieces, pineapple, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. I did not count them but you get a lot of skewers. Although not long, you still can push a lot of food onto them. My only complaint is getting the skewers into the hole in the bottom piece. It’s fine at first but as you keep adding them with food it gets harder to find the hole with each skewer. My last 4 skewers I could not get them to fit so I just left them out. Maybe if I tried to fill each slot while on the counter but I had placed the bottom piece into the Foodi and then added each one while in the pot. The slots that hold the skewers are not deep so I worried if I tried to load this up and then try to get into the Foodi pot they may fall out so I opted to load it while in the Foodi. You also get a silicone mat to put in the bottom of the Foodi to avoid scratching the non-stick pot. Now as for how it turned out? It was AMAZING!!! As I said, I marinated the meat 6 hrs and I also marinated all the veggies. I cooked it at 390 for 20 mins. Give it a try, you will love it. Just as a reference, my Foodi is the 8 quart size.

Missing the cleaning brush, I emailed support at infraovens and got NO RESPONSE. UPDATE. They responded to my email a few days later and sent the brush. I just received it. I’m happy with this product. I use it in my ninja Foodi pressure cooker.

I really like the concept of this skewer stand for the air fryer. Since we use air fryers to limit the oil in our food, having the food we are cooking truly in the air makes sense; it can cook evenly on all sides at once without having to sit in grease. With that said, the design on this unit could be better. I did like the ability to order a size to fit my specific air fryer. I believe the instruction to leave 1/2” of clearance on the sides is not adequate, though. I bought the 8.4 inch rack for my 9 inch Gourmia air fryer basket and it could have used another inch all around. (For the Gourmia 7 quart air fryer, I recommend the 7“ x 4“ rack, if you are buying this.)The skewers that come with the rack do not wedge into their slots tightly. I believe the manufacturer meant to make them easier to put in and remove but the holes are not deep enough for these to feel stable. They did OK when I cooked some chicken drumettes but it felt a bit wobbly. I also thought it was an interesting choice that the handle in the center is not as tall as the skewers so you actually run the risk of touching the hot food with your hand if you aren’t careful about removing it. (I used a protective glove but wound up pushing the food out of the way to get to the handle.)With all that said, I am still experimenting. I would not use these for soft vegetables in the air fryer! Soft vegetables that are cooked through will probably slip off the skewer. However, I’m looking forward to trying things like small red potatoes and pearl onions, slices of peppers, things that can hold up to the heat of the air fryer. There are good possibilities here. The included wire brush is a nice touch, but since the skewers don’t permanently attach, it’s probably overkill. (I just soaked them for a few minutes with dish soap and wiped them off with paper towels.) However, I have plenty of other air fryer tools that I can use it on so I’m happy to have it.

Pros:Love the clean up brush.Loved the vendors “measurement” graphic with info on how to measure. It was succinct and clear.Neutral:The liner works okay in my smaller air fryer and didn’t fold up as much on my bigger one, so it was more mess to clean up in the bigger air fryer.Cons:Skewer spits wobble/flop over (which means “flop out of their holder space in the base-rack”) and make it very twitchy to deal with. It’s more of a pain to set up the food and keep it all steady than it’s worth to me.Soft foods found their way off the skewer spits before I was ready for them too.Summary:I adored the idea of this cooking widget. I found I couldn’t make it work well (I used mostly vegetables) I suspect there would have been less food falling off if I had used meat, which is more solid. This works okay in my InstaPot (which is not an air fryer) because when the skewer spits flop over/wobble or food falls off of them, it’s contained with the inner pot and still edible and usable. It’s not a great tool for my air fryer (either one of them) because the skewer spits flop over/wobble and food falls off of them, making a greater mess for me to clean up after. Not to mention when the food falls off it detracts from the visual aesthetic upon serving.

I made shrimp kabobs and homade stir fry noodles. The peppers, onions, tomatoes, pineapple, and shrimp all came out perfect cooking evenly on air fry 390′ for 25 minutes.
