I highly recommend this watch for parents with young kids. My 8 year old daughter is neurodivergent, so this watch has helped her get her independence by giving her the opportunity to know she can keep in contact with me when she needs it. Whenever she’s over stimulated or getting anxious, she knows she can contact me so I can help her or just listen. She knows I am one call away and I can track her. It also gives me the peace of mind that I can check up on her and make sure she’s okay.A point to consider: You need to have a talk/text and data plan for this watch and sim card. I am already with Rogers, so I got a $30/month child plan (under 18), which came with 10 GB of data. The data gets added to your family plan. So if you don’t want to pay extra per month this is not for you.Pro:-great way to check up on your kid without them having a cell phone.-Amazing GPS tracker, you can even see where they have been on the app and follow their trail- when it works.-You can take photos without them knowing to see where they are.-You can send voice and video messages via the app- it works great if you have a great reception with your phone provider.-They can call you very quickly and it’s extremely convenient.-Set up was easy and I did it by myself by using the instructions they had sent.-They have someone you can contact if you need help.Cons:-It can get pricey per month as you have to have a phone plan.-The UX of the app is not great, so if you’re not tech savvy, it can get confusing.-There is a pop-up ad that comes every time you open the app but you do not need to get a full version to use every option.-The map can show the wrong place your kid is but that has to do with the area you live in and the reception you have with your provider.-The app doesn’t notify you most of the time that you have received a WeChat message. Or you are receiving a videocall as it’s via to the app. I have not tried the WhatsApp option yet. I do have to have the app open or have my child call me to let me know that they have sent me a message.-If they play a game on the watch it can get extremely hot for them to wear. Only time it’s happened.- The text message option: the buttons and the way it’s layout is hard for kids to use. The WeChat is the only option and that doesn’t work because of the app. Again I have not used WhatsApp on it yet so I don’t know what the UI of that is.Otherwise, overall from the other watch that I have used this has been the best one. Even though the app sucks, I still highly recommend it as they can still call you like a phone.

Don’t Recommend
This watch has been a pain since the day I purchased it. It took about two weeks to get it setup to begin with, due to dealing with sim card compatibility issues and having to email the seller back and forth for them to activate it. Once we had it working, the gps wasn’t accurate, showing my child several streets over from where they actually would be at any given time. A bigger issue was that my phone calls often wouldn’t get through to my son due to “network issues”. But then it stopped working altogether after 1.5 months of use. I tried to save money on this purchase, going for a more reasonably priced watch, and am paying the price for that decision now.

AMAZING! MY FAVOURITE PURCHASE
My daughter started taking the bus to school. I wanted something i had more control over then an apple product and this is perfect. I can see and control every function from an app on my phone. GPS i can see where she is. She can send me and others messages through the day. I like the option to be able to restrict access during school hours and being able to control what numbers she can have access to. You pre program contacts and can restrict contact from unknown contacts. Great safety feature. I have recommended this product to friends who have younger kids as well and they also love the product! Im very pleased with my choi e of purchase!

This watch comes with a very detailed instruction so I took it to one of the recommended provider and the Bell rep just installed the SIM card and it worked right away. Gps, calls and text is working well! The seller replied back to all my questions and even followed up. My daughter is 10 and she’s really liking the watch.

This is a great starter smart phone watch for kids. I looked at many before deciding to choose this one. Biggest bonus is it has actual SMS texting in the good old form of t9 you also get a chat feature you can use through the app. The location can be a little wide I found and doesn’t always locate where my son is. Which is why I give this only 4 stars. For example the watch said he was at home when I know 100% he was in school. I had 0 issues setting the watch up just make sure you get the correct SIM card. “Johnny” is great customer service for helping if you run into problems. Would recommend again!!
