  1. Tim

    Love this book
This is an awesome read. Although I’m not diagnosed with ADHD, I am always looking for ways to tighten my focus and stay on task. This book is super approachable and easy to read. The exercises are laid out clearly, and although simple, you can quickly see how they can help. The style of the book speaks to its audience, and I read it cover to cover in no time. I can see myself referring back to this frequently. Well done.

This book gave me a clearer perspective on managing time effectively, even with my packed schedule. As someone who always says, ‘just 5 more minutes on this task!’ I found it so helpful. I loved the reflective spaces throughout, which allowed me to pause, adjust, and troubleshoot as I went along. Consistency has always been my challenge, and I appreciated the reminders about sticking with it. Now, I’m motivated to try organizing my ‘brain dump’—hoping it will finally quiet the constant ‘I’m behind, I’m behind’ stress in my head! Overall, this book is packed with practical tips for ADHDers like me. Highly recommend!

The structure of having a task for each day works really well and I really liked the way the book gave you activities to put the tips into practice. Would recommend

  4. Daphne H

I think the exercises are great! Unfortunately, the book can’t be open on the laptop, which makes it difficult to follow it from the phone.

  5. Melissa

This book definitely takes a practical and hands-on approach to managing ADHD as an adult. I enjoyed the way the author took each of the 5 strategies that the book encourages and gives step-by-step instructions on how to put them into practice. I did notice a few typos, but I still thought it was worth looking past these for the valuable information that I received. The workbook was a huge plus and made it easier to apply the concepts in the book to real life situations.

Both my husband and kids are ADHD. I got this one for my daughter. She is now out of high school and without that structure she is struggling to be responsible for herself. In the first chapter she immediately was engaged because we always talk about her time blindness and how she needs timers and such to keep her on track. It’s a 30 day challenge so we haven’t finished the whole thing but in reviewing more of the book and the first chapter I think these are the steps she needs to start to gain her control and be more aware of how to help herself stay on track
