This product does not fit the Insta Pot, it is too large for the opening in the lid.
Needed a replacement pressure valve for my Instapot . Ordered to fit my make and model, but the valve is too large to fit the lid. Will be returning.

  2. Our Eclectic Life

***UPDATE***If you need a replacement valve, this will work, but I have noticed that it does not hold the pressure in my Instant Pot for quite as long as the manufacturer’s original did. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what the difference is and whether the issue is in the metal valve or the silicone seal. I’m taking the rating down by 1 star. If you routinely let pressure out manually, I do not think this will make any difference for you.Apart from the discoloration of my old valve and seal, I can’t tell the difference between the old and the new set (old set on the left in photo). The valves seem like the same kind of metal, a lightweight aluminum(?) that can easily be pushed up by the pressure. The seals are both silicone. Installation was extremely simple. After installing the new set, the pot sealed just like it always does once it came up to pressure. I could detect no leakage from the valve when the pot was at pressure. My old valve still works like new, but I figured that some day with removing and replacing the seal, I’d eventually need new seals so I went ahead and got these when I saw them through Vine. Currently, I’m using this new set on my 3-qt Duo (https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-Duo-Mini-Programmable/dp/B06Y1YD5W7.It)’s nice to be able to replace the old valve and not even be able to tell the difference. 5 stars

This order took all of the angst out of cooking with my almost-new Instant Pot!If I manage to lose the tiny plastic cap after I remove it to wash the cover–which is really a matter of “when”, not “if”–I have a nice little stash of replacements so I can still serve up bowls of yummy soup or stew in record time.I hadn’t even got to worrying about how the float valve, itself, would hold up, but that was also just a matter of time. (The worrying. For all I know, the valve will last forever.) Both parts appear identical to the original parts, and performed identically when I tested them on a pot of Chicken Tortilla Soup (even though I did not need to replace the original parts yet.)I can recommend these as an inexpensive and fuss-free way to insure continued usefulness of an appropriate sized Instant Pot. I used them on a 6 quart Duo Plus, and I’m so glad I found them.
