The white is kind of a cream, almost off-white, and is very attractive, along with the striped sides that are actually “scalloped” and pleasant to handle and secure to wash. The handles are wide and easy and comfortable to lift even filled larger pans.There’s an opening in the glass lid of the large saute pan, presumably to release steam. I wish there was a way to close it. Letting out all that moisture can leave you with a too-dry dish if you don’t compensate.The pans transfer heat evenly though perhaps not quite as fast and direct as stainless. My wife says she wasn’t able to get the kind of sear on dumpling skins she gets with a stainless frying pan – using comparable temperature and cooking time. So be prepared to compensate and adjust your cooking technique if you haven’t used ceramic before.We’ve heard the rub on Teflon is, once it begins to break down, usually as a result of too-aggressive cooking/cleaning utensils, you’re not just exposing unprotected cooking surface, you may be getting bits and by products of the coating in your food. This ceramic set is an attractive and function non-stick alternative.

This is a really nice set of pots and pans. They are a very nice finish all around. They have a ceramic type outer coating and a nice slick metal finish on the inside. At first glance, they look like they would be pretty heavy but they are actually fairly light. That is a good thing because it feels very solid and sturdy but it is not overly heavy. This allows for easy to move pots and pans. The overall build quality seems to be very good. The parts and pieces seem to be put together well. The handles are very solid and don’t seem to be very loose. The lids and everything fit together nicely. These pots and pans do very well when cooking. They seem to distribute heat nicely and clean up was very easy. I am happy overall for getting these and I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a new set of pots and pans or add to their current collection.

So first they are beautiful. Of course that would not matter if they did not do their job. But they are great to cook with. So far I have been very happy with them. They disperse the heat well and clean up really easily because they do a great job as non-stick cookware. The spatula and ladle were such a nice bonus. I really like their shape and size. These really are a great value for the price point.
