I like the Vitamix a lot, but in all honesty, sometimes the 64 ounce container that comes with it is too large for what I am blending. More often than not it’s not a quarter of the way filled. I think this size is is much better for the majority of the things I use the mixer for.From what I can tell, this is almost an identical copy of the Vitamix 48 ounce container. I looked at the original, which is almost $100 more, and the only difference that I could see was the way the blade attaches to the container. This uses the chrome metal nut where as the original uses the large black nut. I included a picture of the only difference, the nut. Other than that, to me they look the same. The container itself is very well made. The casting is very substantial, the base is thick like the original and the rest of it again, looks like the original. The top is made of a nice flexible rubbery material that attaches well. The blade also looks identical to the original. It is 4 blade, non serrated and attaches with an acorn nut rather than the hex bolts some other aftermarket blades use.As for how well it works, I am happy with the results. I blended some broccoli soup and it cam out very well. For the price I think this is a very good option.

I like this smaller size pitcher for my vitamix as I make a lot of smoothies for just myself. When I used my original pitcher, sometimes when the mix is on the thicker side, the blade would just spin and the mixture didn’t get mixed. with this replacement pitcher, it doesn’t have that problem.

My old pitcher was looking cloudy and hard to clean. I am so happy to have a good pitcher to make smoothies with. It is very pretty and works great for my elderly grandparents to have soft food to eat.

I have a Vitamix 7500. This is advertised that it will fit. It definitely will fit over it, but the insertion part that spins the blade barely inserts into the part on the blender base. There’s no way I would dare use this and risk stripping the metal on my machine. I’d return it if I could. It’s a fail for me.
