These are minimalist, clean looking orchid planters. Be aware of their dimensions because they are for miniature orchids.

Our house in Florida, has a lot of potted plants including a small collection of Orchids. Most of these Orchids are planted in what looks like a thin, translucent pot, that has lots of holes or slots. This is pretty standard with many Orchids as they like a lot of air for their roots. But truthfully the pots are not that good looking. thankfully the Orchids make up for that.This pot combines a nice, white ceramic pot, and the typical looking Orchid pot placed inside. The Orchid pot has a rim that fits over the top rim of the ceramic pot so that it hangs down inside the planter. The sides and bottom of the Orchid pot do touch the walls of the ceramic pot. So, good air flow is provided.The white ceramic pot by itself is very nice. The walls are about 1/4″ thick and feature a decorative vertical, scalloped ribbing on the outside surface. It looks nice and the raised scallops create a nice shadowing affect when the sun hits it.The ceramic pot has a large drainage hole at the bottom which is protected by a piece of screen to keep the loose Orchid soil inside. And a translucent drip tray is also supplied for the pot.This is a nice planter for Orchids which dresses up the standard, perforated plastic pot. Definitely makes a big difference and keeps most of the advantages of the normal Orchid pot. Although keep in mind that this pot is a little less the 5 inches in diameter. So, this is for small plants. We’re liking the ones we received. They meet the descriptions and images shown on the webpage. We would recommend them.

I love these pots. Lightweight but still durable and look nice. They do have drainage holes. Functions as it should. I reccomend.

These ceramic parts are beautiful. They come with the plastic, slotted, with raised feet inserts, as well as, plastic trays. There’s a drainage hole in the bottom of the ceramic pots. It also comes with a mesh insert to prevent any soil escaping.These are well designed and beautifully made. Overall, very pleased.

This set makes no sense together, but the individual elements are decent quality.The plastic mesh orchid pots are great, and they fit well into the ceramic pots. But the ceramic pots don’t work at all for this purpose because they have a hole in the bottom. The whole point is that you use them to soak your orchid bark and then pour the excess water out after a little while.The plastic saucer especially does not make sense. If you care enough about aesthetics to use a ceramic pot, you would not want a cheap plastic saucer. It looks silly. On top of that, it’s so small that it’s flush against the bottom of the pot, so it doesn’t hold water at all. This is not how a functional saucer is supposed to fit. It needs to be about an inch bigger all the way around so it can actually hold the water that flows out of the bottom of the pot. Then the plant can gradually absorb that water over an hour or so, and then you pour out the excess.
