I bought it for my husband. He has two issues. He has lost a lot of weight and never had much padding on his buttocks. Since he has lost weight it is very painful to sit. He says he’s sitting on bone. He’s also suffering with hemorrhoids that are swollen and very painful. He loves this cushion!!! No more pain! He highly recommends this cushion because it’s extremely comfortable.

The stock image is quite deceptive. The raise in the posterior support is no more than an inch. It does not go up the back of the chair.The gel is firm, however. I have been using it for months and it is still thick and comfortable. It just does not cradle my sacrum in the way the photos suggested.Still a decent product to try out.
