Great blender
I was torn between this and the Ninja, and decided to go with this based on reviews. Seems NutriBullet has less issues for people such as cracking and leaking. With all of them in this price range I think plastic is the only option and it seems to stand up well. I’m coming off an old blender, so this is far better and blends very well. It’s also a good size (8 cups). My only issue was first one did not power on at all, so i returned without issue and got a new one which is working just fine.

Good product
Bang for your buck when it comes to blenders. Very powerful, multiple settings.

Almost comparable to a VITAMIX
I was so skeptical at first to purchase this machine… since it claims to also be able to process nuts…I am so happy I did… it is not a Vitamix, but pretty close and the price you pay for this machine is so worth it. It does an almost perfect job as Vitamix in terms of blending everything to a smooth consistency, including almond nuts that I use in my smoothies. However, it is quiet noisy…other than that, I would definitely recommend this machine. It is cost effective, easy to clean and does what it claims to do.

Definitely does the job!
I needed a blender that actually worked. I read so many reviews and always would come back to this blender. Well it definitely is what I was looking for! Yes it is louder than others but man this thing is powerful! I make smoothies daily with both fresh fruit and frozen fruit and this works, a nice smooth smoothie every time! One thing I love about this blender are the suction cups on the bottom of the base, never thought those would come in handy but man they work well when blending! Awesome buy!

1 star for Amazon Warehouse Deal; 5 star for this blender
Got this blender through Amazon Warehouse Deals. Described as “Very Good Condition, 5% or less cosmetic damage”. Got the blender and one of the buttons wasn’t working (Pulse button). I couldn’t even feel the button itself under the flexible rubber membrane.Shame on Amazon for not testing this properly. I know better than going cheap on appliances/electronics, rarely works. Lesson relearned. Returned this one and bought a NEW one this time.One(1) star to Amazon Warehouse Deals. As per the blender goes, it is excellent. I have used these for smoothies and boy do they liquify the life out of the ingredients.Five(5) stars on blending power. One thing I noticed is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the blade attachment from the pitcher, it seems a one way lock so if I would ever need to replace one or the other I would have to buy the whole assembly. Also that design choice removes from the ease of cleaning the components. They do sell an optional brush to clean it. It should have come with every blender though considering you can’t remove the blade attachment.Four(4) stars then for easy to clean. The blender is not cheap but not terrible expensive either.Four (4) stars on value for money.

Awful
I purchased this when the lid to my Ninja blender broke. I adored my Ninja, but after reading the lid issue was common, and not being able to find a replacement, I decided to switch brands and settled on the Nutribullet. First, I was impressed with the base of the unit. Its metal and very sturdy, and I loved the suction cups to keep it from moving across the counter like my Ninja did. I also like that the base is two pieces (base + lid) so rather than having to clean three pieces, I now only have to clean two. The power is great, and while it is noisy, it’s actually quieter than my Ninja was. My only downside is several times when starting to blend smoothie cubes with almond milk, the blades kind of jam at first. I always add liquid first then solids, so I feel like this shouldn’t happen. If it doesn’t pick up right away, or I don’t turn it off it will emit a burning plastic smell. The only way to avoid this is to “fluff” my smoothie cubes so the blades don’t jam on them, even though they are much softer than an ice cube. I prefer my Ninja blade for that reason, as the Ninja never jammed. I worry one day the motor will blow on this one if I’m not super careful! Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase. It’s a great size, feels well made, and is easy to wash.EDIT: I’ve had this blender less than a year and it started leaking oil and producing a horrible burning smell when being used. For the price it’s absolute garbage. I should have stuck with a ninja.
