A tightly woven guide of inspiration and tools
After on and off hectically using the Bujo method from the free youtube videos over the past 2 years made me unsure whether the book would add anymore value to the process than what was already explained, but luckily it does very much so.When finished reading the book, you find that its full of many many processes, tricks and sub-methods for organizing many different things in ones life. A collection of helpful things that ill 100% be returning to the book whenever i need to remember how to execute a certain way of tracking or writing something for a collection in my bujo. Essentially a reference guide to better orient specific collections or methods i need in my bujo and implemented efficiantly at that. The fact that all the insightful knowledge is woven together through personal, real stories and accounts of many others that have used the bujo successfully adds that prism of clarity and inspiration that should come with a guide made to help organizing one’s life. Seemless transitonal reminders between pages as the big main WHY’s of framing the book always keep it feeling personal, grounded and less mechanical as following a method might feel at times. When it comes to the special stealth bujo ot comes with, i was actually surprised by how much i liked it, also scared before i bought it if it was even worth the purchase. Its very sleek, durable and well designed as advertised and can’t wait to start using it in 2019.Very happy with how the book turned out, and glad i bought the collection.

A great system to put one’s life in order.
I liked the system that enabled me to have ONE notebook and keep myself organized: Daily tasks, Monthly tasks, and Future tasks. Included are the projects I am working on and ideas I have that I want to keep. Rather than the former four books plus a day timer and daily list of chores book … I have a system that allows me to locate important events, thoughts, projects and plan so that nothing is forgotten. The bullet points enable me to sum up what I need – this means that I follow through rather than giving up because it becomes unwieldy. I note it down, and review it at the end of the day. i would recommend this book to anyone who wants to simplify their life and still be able to accomplish a lot.

Great book but lots of fluff.
The author does a great job explaining and teaching how to bullet journal but wastes lots of time talking about why, other self help authors do a much better job at that.I’m excited to give bullet journaling a shot, seems well organized and frictionless.

The title of book shortchanges its value.
I thought prior to buying this book that it would go on too long about a simple concept in structure. Wrong-o!1/2 book about method and last half is how it can become a tool to better prioritize your intentional life. Not just checking off to do list like your on a hamster wheel of life. It’s your life. Live it your way. No apologies. Driving my daughters nuts pushing them to read it. Read book with pen and paper in hand, you’ll want it

A very insightful and helpful book
I bought this book for the purpose of learning how to set up a bullet journal, but it is so much more than a how-to book. It helps you think through your priorities and the things that get in the way of achieving a life of purpose and passion. Even if you aren’t planning to try bullet journaling I still recommend reading this book.

Great starting point for BuJo beginner, or deeper clarification for BuJo user.
Let talk about the first and only missing piece of the book, a bookmark. It will be perfect if the book has a marker, especially the similar string one that include in the notebook itself.Other than that the book quality is over the root. Not only the book and the notebook is top notch quality, but the book context is also extremely details and helpful to learn about Bullet Journal.I had tried and gave up Bullet Journal once or twice before mostly because I was intimidated by how beautiful other BuJo. Now, after coming back to the basic, it makes more sense, and more comfortable for me to stick to the routine. Moreover, I know mine can have the potenitial to be beautiful in its unique way too.

Perfect Solution
I’ve got scraps of paper in piles all over the place – journal, to do list, memories, ideas. Though I’m not going to follow the Bullet Journal system exactly as outlined, it has given me THE solution to all my scraps! Totaly worth the money to buy and time to read.

If you search “bullet journal” online, you will find millions of journal pages with artistic spreads, month covers, trackers, etc. But these don’t represent THE Bullet Journal Method. The Bullet Journal was created by Ryder Carroll to help him order his life and help him manage his ADHD. He spent years refining it until he started to share it with the world. The Bullet Journal Method just uses dots for tasks, circles for events, and hyphens for notes; these lists shouldn’t even be full sentences! Through a combination of key logs (future, monthly, daily), the index, collections (only when necessary), and reflections, the Bullet Journal user is able to capture a large amount of data in a small space, and use that data to prioritize, adjust, and focus their lives. This book walks you through the whole process, providing you with a powerful, life-changing tool… as long as you don’t get distracted by the Instagram spreads you will find online that often deviate from the core method and are more like a custom planner. Remember: function over beauty.Every November through January, I pull out this book and reread it, complete various exercises, and basically reset. This book is how you truly learn to Bullet Journal. If you are still undecided, check out the Official Bullet Journal YouTube channel (its icon is a black circle with a white lightning bolt) and the playlist I posted as an image (I can’t post the link or my comment will be taken down). Just the first 2 videos will give you basics and show you how simple the Bullet Journal Method truly is. I started using the method just by watching those 2 videos; however, I didn’t really understand how to leverage its full power until I read this book. Understanding the full method, as well as purpose of each aspect of the method, is what really moves you forward. One of the strengths of the method is how you can adjust your Bullet Journal to meet your unique needs (the inability to do this with pre-made planners like Franklin Covey or Dayrunner is why many of us have given up on planners). Now, what if you are wondering, “But I like those pretty pictures, why can’t I use them?” The answer is simple… your Bullet Journal can range anywhere from completely ugly (no art, no color, tons of mistakes and scratchouts, crumpled water-logged pages smeared with grease, etc.) to absolutely stunning; however, the true Bullet Journal Method focuses on function instead of beauty. As long as your focus is on what you want to accomplish with your life, how to get there, and your progress, additional aesthetic flourishes aren’t a problem. (confession: my BuJo has color and flourishes that I add AFTER I have recorded my data. Adding pretty flourishes is my reward for completing the functional aspects.)

Meine persönliche Erfahrung: Die Methode funktioniert einfach.

Sometimes, we strive to achieve more and improve, but we lack the know-how. This book introduces an extraordinary method for self-organization that enhances productivity and, most importantly, aligns our goals with our actions. It was the best purchase I could have made; it changed my life.

📝it’s interesting that I read this book right after reading “Make Time.” The Bullet Journal Method points out that we can’t make time—we can only take it. Although we can’t create more time, we can improve the quality of the time we use. This book not only teaches you how to bullet journal but, more importantly, provides insights into why you should do it and how it will benefit you.It will teach you about setting goals, focusing not on pursuing happiness but rather on meaningful tasks and objectives.A must read for those struggling with time management and consistency.✍️ My Top 3 QuotesIn the end it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years. – Abraham LincolnWe must take it upon ourselves to grow. We grow by learning. And we learn by daring to take action. There will always be risk because we can’t control the outcome. This is the way of life and it’s unavoidable. What is avoidable however is being perpetually haunted by all the things that could have been if you have only dared. Begin by giving yourself permission to believe you’re worth the risk. – p.129f Happiness is the result of our actions then we need to stop asking ourselves how to be happy. Rather we should be asking ourselves, How to be. – p.141
