ENCHANTING SONGS FROM EVERY BOWL
I first heard a Tibetan singing bowl at a yoga class and was blown away by the clear melodic tone that was emitted by the bowl when the instructor ran the mallet around the rim. I decided to purchase a set for myself to aid in my meditation practice. This is a beautiful, handmade set of 3 bowls which are a bit smaller than I expected, however, you can see the craftsmen’s attention to detail on each bowl, and each has a different decoration inside. Each bowl comes with their own custom sized cushion and mallet. I was able to get the largest bowl to sing relatively easily but was having problems getting the two smaller bowls to also sing. I watched a You Tube video that gave me some pointers such as: holding the bowl on my flat hand and not having any contact with the side of the bowl, using my whole arm and not just my wrist to circle the mallet around the outside of the rim to ensure the mallet stays vertical, and using the correct sized mallet for the bowl while applying slow steady pressure. It also suggested that either end of the mallet, the wood or the leather, could be used. The combination of these tips made all the difference in the end. It is still more difficult to get the smaller bowls to sing and require more coaxing, but all three have lovely harmonic songs.

Handmade Singing Bowls for Deep Relaxation
I recently purchased this Tibetan singing bowl set and I’m really happy with it. The sound it produces is very calming and helps me relax. I like that it’s handmade by Nepalese craftsmen, you can tell they put care into making it. The set comes with a nice silk cushion and a leather-covered mallet. I’ve been using it for meditation and yoga, and it helps me clear my mind. The sound is natural and acoustic, just what I needed. My only issue is that the smaller bowl’s sound could be a bit clearer. Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others seeking a peaceful experience.

I got these because I’m a musician and love things that make interesting sounds. These bowls seem very well-made and they have very nice sounds. The set I got has nicely-matched tuning, so all 3 sound harmonious went played in succession. The lowest is around Eb, the next is around F, and the smallest is around Ab.
