Great Cutter! (Make sure the seller isn’t shipping a knock-off)
I ordered from Raw Nutrition (in Ontario) and received a geniune product. A friend order a “cheaper” version from another seller and got a knock-off, even though it was advertised as the Gefu. The two items look very similar, but mine has the Gefu logo, hers doesn’t.I love it, although I now have to deal with a big, big, pile of spiralled zuchinni…I had a little too much fun playing with it.

works but it takes a lot of effort and hard to clean
So I actually have had this for years. It just recently broke in half but I got a TON of uses out of it so I am not really mad at it breaking. I used it a lot. IT works and it’s small so won’t take up too much kitchen space. It can be a bit hard to clean as I don’t have a dishwasher and I really got to get in there meticulously. When you turn it , after awhile your arm gets sore so I take breaks.

Good for the price
I love the idea of replacing pasta with zucchini noodles and now eat that on a regular basis. This spiralizer is easy to use, which is great. The only downside is that it’s a little difficult to clean the teeth on the inside. Also, the hand guard that is supposed to stick into the vegetable and make spiralizing easier doesn’t really work. Instead, it butchers the end of the zucchini and leaves the end useless. Other than that, it’s a good cheaper alternative to the pricier spiralizer.

My new favourite kitchen gadget!
I. Love. This. Gadget. Seriously! It’s super easy to use, super easy to clean and super easy to store. It does exactly what it says it will do. I’ve used it several times with zucchini (then I fry it in ghee and garlic…. and omg! I’m in heaven!!). This product really is very innovative, a smart tool without any extras; none are needed. Thanks GEFU for a totally cool and user-friendly product.

“Knock” Off Product and is Garbage!
I ordered this product only to find out it was nothing but a “knock” off product! Not even close to the photo – the actual GEFU name could not be found on the item itself and the box had a spelling error – “blabe” instead of “blade”. The hand safety guard popped off with the first turn of the zucchini and the item completely fell apart when trying a carrot. Total garbage and a waste of money – perhaps the real GEFU might work but this most certainly does not! I did get my 29.99 back however I was not reimbursed the postage costs. The postage expense was a lesson in buying on Amazon. Would not recommend purchasing from this supplier at all, and Amazon should be aware their suppliers are misrepresenting the products you actually receive..

Great design. I use a sturdy fork for the last bit to get the most from my veggies. this is the third different type I have tried and this is the one I like the most.

Meh
Great for zucchini or softer veggies but useless for carrots.

Everyone should have one!
A phenomenal tool! I can’t believe how difficult it was to find for how useful it is! It’s a little hard to clean but I found it you have a scrub brush or old tooth brush that does the trick! This is a utensil that having leads to eating a whole lot more greens:)

I used to have an OXO julienne peeler and thought it did an OK job of julienning items. The teeth on that product got bent and I found it did find with the hard, outside flesh of a zucchini or squash, but not as well with the softer, seedy centers. Then someone decided it should be used as a potato peeler and it never worked right again. So I bought the GEFU Spirelli Spiral Cutter.Provided you buy ‘skinnier’ produce (1-2.5″ diameter) items, this product works great. Keep the veggie very upright (you don’t need to press the veggie up against the whole length of the cutting blade) and it will produce a lovely, long string of jullienned veggie. Zucchini and squash are a great pasta substitute. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are very pretty when roasted in the oven with a little oil, salt & pepper. I even have good success with carrots and cucumbers. For the safety conscious: I don’t use the hand guard for most of the process. I tried it when the veggie got pretty small, but didn’t have much success with it. When I can’t spin the veggie anymore, I dice the rest and call it good. The obvious con, if you’re an efficiency expert, is that there is a center core of about .25-0.5″ that is waste if you choose not to dice it and cook it up as well; and the end nub of the veggie is also “waste” or diceable because it’s just hard to push the whole veggie down the V shape. It comes clean mostly by running water over it. I do use a toothpick for the pesky bits that choose to hold on too tight. This item is small, easy to use, clean and store. I don’t really understand user complaints of not knowing how to use it or “cheap” materials. Mine has worked fine for over 6 months with regular use. Julienning really doesn’t get easier than this…
