I love this 2-in-1 cast iron Dutch oven! I’ve actually started using it instead of my pressure cooker because it does such an amazing job at slow-cooking stews and other hearty dishes. The heat retention is fantastic, so everything cooks evenly, and the flavors are incredible. The lid doubles as a skillet, which is super convenient, and the enameled interior makes cleanup a breeze—no sticking or scrubbing. Plus, the silicone handle grips make it easy to handle, even when it’s hot. It’s perfect for baking bread, roasting, and pretty much any recipe that benefits from even, consistent heat. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for versatile, long-lasting cookware!

I recently bought this pot, but first received an item that was wrongly shipped. The customer service was then nicely help me to replace the item and send me the correct one. After using this pot for a while, I am really satisfied with this pot. The quality is outstanding, and the pot looks durable and well-made. In addition, the heat retention is amazing and the heat distribution is even that really help to make great foods. I do highly recommend this pot to anyone who’s looking a cast iron pot!

This cast iron enameled dutch oven comes with a lid and is thereby 2 in 1 since the lid can also be used as a small skillet. The interior enamel coating is smooth and a cream shade like my other name brand enameled cast iron cookware. The outer cast iron coating though is a bit strange looking/feeling…it doesn’t have a glossy finish, nor does it look like a regular Lodge cast iron pan with that usual cast iron texture you’d expect, this pot is a matte finish, and the texture feels kind of chalkboard-ish to me (??). I’ll be observing to see if this somehow affects the long term care and durability of the pot. That aside, the enameled interior will cook evenly and retain heat – and it can be used on induction stoves. Of note, the manufacturer lists not to heat an empty pan which is contrary to what I’ve always known of regular and enameled cast iron, and that is to preheat the pan (enameled for no more than 5 minutes before adding oil or something to avoid cracking the enamel) so that the heat is evenly distributed before adding any food. I’m not sure how literally this instruction is to be interpreted, but I’ll be proceeding along as I always have for the many years I’ve cooked exclusively with cast iron/enameled cast iron/carbon steel by preheating the pot/pan whenever I’m using it to cook on the stovetop vs. the oven. Overall though, this seems a pretty quality dutch oven/lid and it’s priced as a bargain for essentially 2 pans in 1.

Whoever thought of this is a genius! It is a Dutch oven but the lid doubles as a skillet! It heats well and evenly, I do like to preheat mine for a few minutes first though. It is heavy, but that is to be expected with a cast iron Dutch oven, especially a decently sized 5Q one like this. Very easy to clean since it is pre-seasoned and enameled. It basically just wipes clean. The best part about it is the price. Dutch ovens can be so expensive but I was blown away when I seen the price of this one, and oftentimes there is even a coupon available for it! 100% recommend this gadget!
