    Best Instant Pot Recipe Book
I love this cookbook. I have bought 3 copies so far, one for myself, one for my son and another for a friend that hasn’t been able to get her pot out of the box.I have make a lot of these recipes and have not had any fails. Some of these are:1. Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeat I regularly make this for my daughter and myself with the suggested added walnuts and we both think it is very tasty2, Quick Zucchini Ratatouille I quite often use the cherry tomatoes that have been sitting in my fridge for a while3. Braised cabbage with onion instead of bacon as part of my family is vegetarian4. Root Vegetable Medley I have made this with other root vegetables as well so it is a good way to clean out your fridge.5. Brown Butter and Asparagus Risotto I liked this better than Jeffrey Eisner’s Lemon Asparagus Risotto6. The soup recipes are outstanding and part of my regular meal planning, Creamy Cauliflower and Potato Soup, Thai Style Corn Chowder, Creamy Broccoli and Leek Soup7. Tuscan Chicken Stew Sunday Pot Roast are excellent family meals8. If you want to impress guest the Low Country Boil is great and Shrimp Scampi makes a romantic dinner for two9. The Lime Cheesecake is also easy and tastyI have also bought her dessert cookbook and her second instant book cook. However this one is my favourite.

    Great recipes and useful
I’ve had the Instant Pot for years, but never used it once. It was one of those things that seemed like a great idea when I picked it up, but I soon found out I had no idea what I was doing. So eventually I gave in and bought this cookbook so I’d at least have direction about how to use the whole thing.Things I like:- Good variety of recipes. Wouldn’t have ever even considered making Carrot Cake Rice Pudding otherwise.- Nutritional value per serving. This is useful to have.- Gives the prep and cooking time, as well as whether they’re vegetarian, gluten free, etc.- Comes with instructions on how to use the pressure cooker, as well as detailed charts for things like conversions, cooking times, etc. Some things I don’t like:- It requires more than just the pressure cooker for the actual cooking. Some recipes require some stove top cooking, and some require using the oven. I was kind of hoping for more recipes that I could do with only the pressure cooker.- Some weird page warping. They seem to use a different type of paper for the chapter indexes, and it has a really annoying habit of warping/pulling to the left.- There are no pictures, so you just sort of have to hope you’re following the directions properly.- Some of the recipes call for ingredients that are harder to find/expensive. It makes cooking them a bit more daunting. Rice wine vinegar and Chinese five-spice powder were among the things I had to purchase.Overall, while it has some flaws, it has been helpful for using the Instant Pot. Some of the internet recipes I found out there weren’t descriptive enough or didn’t have the info I was looking for, so it was good to finally have it in an easy to use source.

    Well worth the money
Each of the recipes has an intro to explain what it is, its background and what makes it special. The ingredients are listed clearly and suggestions are given on where to find any unusual items. Directions are clearly written and easy to follow and i especially liked that the author would explain the reasoning if the instructions contained anything unusual. A look at the listing of recipes should inspire any cook who aims for a lot of flavour. I love cooking with my Instant Pot and this book will help expand my cooking creativity for sure. This is no slap-dash effort (i have seen quite a few pressure-cooker e-books that fall into this category) and i was pleasantly surprised many times by this book. Very glad i bought it 🙂

  4. Kindle Customer

    No pictures
The cook book has really nice recipes but i like to see a picture of the the completed recipe. This book does not have pictures of the completed recipe and thus I most likely would have returned this if it hadn’t been a free book with my new instant pot.

  5. Jim

    Nice machine
Does everything we need and does it well!

  6. Amazon Customer

Perfect for experienced cooks new to pressure cooking
Having hunted through many of the InstantPot cookbooks on Amazon, this is the one I chose and I’m so glad I did. I don’t need hundreds of recipes that give you basic stuff where the pressure function isn’t used – scrambled eggs???? The recipes are well written and easy to follow and include tips in some cases.

  7. MRS D P WALDEN

    EASY INSTRUCTIONS, GREAT RECIPES
This book expanded my rather limited knowledge of instant pot cooking. The recipes are varied, easy to follow and many of them have become family favourites. Highly recommend if you are newish to Instant Pot cooking

I bought my one pot electric pressure cooker and of course it does not have good or clear instructions – this book is very good indeed and I found that although it is the kindle version with no pictures, the instructions were easy to understand, not americanised (hurray!) hints, calorie value, whether gluten free or whatever – all information given. It has given me the confidence to try out my new cooker which I shall be doing presently. The main point is that having read the reviews on other books it was clear that people were rather put out at the American terminology and American recipes so the other books were obviously not written by an English person. The recipes in this book have a world wide selection of recipes of the food we now eat in Britain so it should cater for all tastes. I certainly would recommend anyone hunting for this type of cookery book to have a look at this one.

no pictures recipe book but I can understand why because you can create your own finished product without thinking yours are no as good as the book. easy to follow recipes with easy to find ingredients.
