Works well. Low Cost. Sturdy. Easy to Use. Works Out of the Box. Recommended!
Cost-Effective Great Design and Works! This is likely the most economical unit on the market but it’s definitely not the cheapest. We have been using it for over a months now and can’t find anything major with it. It sits on desktop and we can lower it to use the computer while sitting–although we do have to raise the office chair on a higher position–and raise it to suit the height of someone standing. The height is adjusted using a rotating level in the back. It’s a bit inconvenient and clumsy to use but the user just needs to get used to it. It’s a minor beef and is insufficient to take off a point.I have previous purchased a floor standing model that is twice as expensive and requires tools to adjust the height, and there’s no way to use it sitting down. The Recelco unit is much more useful. The best part, other than it works well, is NO SET UP!. Taking it out of the box was the hardest part.

    Excellent product
I purchased this product in the first week of Jan 2022, with prime one-day delivery, and it arrived great in excellent condition. The product did not disappoint: It is exactly as in the picture and the video, very well made, and excellent product. The product arrived without damages and it features just like in the video. One thing I did not catch in the video and surprised me is the fact that when you use the stand-up feature, it moves forward. This is well shown in the video, I just did not catch that when I purchased it. That presented a problem because I use it for online teaching at home and I have a green screen behind, so when I use the stand up version, I have to move everything 1 or 2 feet away backwards (the one I have at the office just raises vertically). It is not a deal-breaker for me, I just prepare everything ahead of time with the stand-up feature, I just thought of mentioning it in case someone else, like me, misses that. The product is easy to use, I love it, it does what it is supposed to do, that is to support all your working station and lift it when needed. The surface is large and I am comfortably putting my laptop and a large monitor on the top and my tablet on the drawer. You can basically put an old computer working station (minus the tower) on it.I will purchase this product again.

    Comes ready to use!
This comes ready to use! Take out of the box, place it where you want it and your set! It is quite heavy! If you have trouble lifting things I would definitely recommend having help. With the heaviness it is sturdy! At the lift of a button it rises up with ease and can be adjusted at any place desired. No set settings. There is a a retractable keyboard tray which glides with ease. There are also holes on top of the desk to easily put your cords through. For a gal who is 5″2′ I found it too tall on my desk for I then needed my chair so elevated when wanting to sit my feet hung and wasn’t always comfortable. All in all, great quality just too oversized for the space I had it but worked as I wanted it.

    Sturdy quality product and ergonomic
I bought this for working from home because I used to stand a lot at my sit-stand desk at the office.I originally bought the Fenge sit-stand desk from Amazon, but sent it back due to a manufacturer defect. Plus the assembly instructions were quite confusing and frustrating. However, this riser comes out of the box ready to use. There are no electronics or motors, just a pneumatic spring that helps adjust to any height. Now I am standing comfortably at my desk and very happy with this product. It is sturdy and well made and fits my monitor and laptop, plus other knick-knacks.

Love this very solid sit/stand desk converter!
I’m very happy with this sit/stand desk converter. The surface is spacious for two large monitors, the structure is overall very sturdy and easy to use! It’s also perfect for my height (5’4”). Key features for me are that it has a retractable keyboard tray and no assembly required. You just remove it from the box and put it on your desk. It is fairly large and it comes out a bit when you raise it, so make sure you have enough desk space. The keyboard tray is also big enough to hold an ergo keyboard, a large mouse pad and mouse. Although raising the desk is fairly easy, at first I found it difficult to lower it. However, I realized that you have to lean into it when you push down and now I have the hang of it. No huge effort required considering I’m not built very mighty at all (5’4” tall, 105 lbs.). I’m very pleased with this product and it has helped me a lot as I suffer from back pain from sitting for long periods of time (purchased since I’m teleworking due to cover). I highly recommend this product!

Excellent product can save your back and neck strain
Less expensive than better known brand, but well built and working perfectly for me. None of the brands sold actually rise quite high enough to hold my monitor at my eye level, so I have a thick book on the Rocelco to bring the monitor up to right level. All others have same problem. But this baby swings up easily to my standing work height, with all the equipment I need (keyboard, mouse, plus good working space for notebooks etc). Steady, I don’t have to mess with any leavers, just push it down, or pull it up. Once in position it stays. I should have bought this two years ago!

    Overall happy with the purchase
Overall happy with the purchase. I had a different brand of sit-stand desk before which I liked a bit better, but it was also $200 more expensive than this one. I bought the standard model, but I might recommend the deluxe because it has the handles on the side to raise and lower more easily. Not a big deal but without the handles it is a bit awkward to raise it (might just be my height/height of desk combo). I have to lean right over it and pull it up towards me which is a bit of a strain on my back. But not a huge deal. Sturdy construction, definite plus that it comes fully assembled. Plenty of room for average keyboard and mouse on the pull out tray. Lots of room for notebooks, coffee cup, office supplies, etc. on the desktop. I stack books under my monitor to bring it up to the correct height though, otherwise I would be looking down at the monitor and causing neck strain. Overall I would recommend it. Good value for money and solves an issue that’s becoming a serious epidemic!

El convertidor funciona de maravilla. Está un poco pesado, pero ya viene armado. Solo hay que jalar una palanca para levantarlo o bajarlo. Se puede regular la altura y hasta el momento no he tenido ningún problema. El tapete también es muy cómodo.

My son, who owns a software design company, has Varidesks for all his employees and because I have chronic lower-back pain, he suggested I get one for myself. As a home-based writer, I sometimes spend 8-9 hours a day sitting in front of my PC, and being able to alternate between standing and sitting is a big improvement in my quality of life. My back feels MUCH better. But the Varidesk was expensive, so I looked for lower-cost alternatives. I’m glad I did, because the Rocelco ADR Adjustable Sit/Stand desk is absolutely perfect and cost half of what I would have paid for a Varidesk model. One of the problems with Varidesk is that the lower-cost models can only support 35 pounds. I have a Dell XPS 27, which is a screen and computer all in one, and that weighs 35 pounds all by itself. Add keyboard, mouse and a few other desk essentials, and I’m over the limit. To get a Varidesk model that can support as much as 45 pounds, you’ll pay $500.This Rocelco ADR Adjustable desk can support 50 pounds, cost only about $250, and is extremely well-made. Yes, the platforms for the PC and keyboard are pressed board, but it’s solid, and the rest of the unit– the base and weight-bearing supports — are steel. One big plus: no assembly required. Take it out of the box, put it on your existing desk, and you’re done. And it comes in very sturdy packing.I thought the only drawback to the Rocelco desk was that the keyboard tray was recessed too far underneath the top platform, making it hard for me to see the top row of function keys — then I realized that the keyboard tray is retractable. I just slid it out, and now this setup is has no drawbacks at all. It’s perfect.I was worried that the Rocelco would be hard to lift and drop down because of my 35-pound PC, but the steel gas springs make it easier than I thought. The only thing that takes a little learning-curve is how it locks in place. This can be set at four different heights, and when I’m standing (I’m 5-foot-10), I use it in the second-highest position. To get there, I lift the Rocelco desk all the way to the top position (where it will stay even without being locked). Then I reach my hands around each side, resting my arms on the top platform, while putting a thumb on each of the sliding lock rings on either side. Applying downward weight with my arms, I ease the desk downward while gently pushing down on the lock-ring knobs. When it reaches one of the pre-set height stops, I feel the lock slide into place. Then I double-check to make sure each side is properly locked (the word “locked” will be in the middle of the lock ring). That sounds more complicated than it is. Once you know how it’s done, you can do it in seconds. And you can drop it all the way down in 2 seconds, with the gas springs easing it downwards.A sit/stand desk may sound like a luxury, but if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer, or you have back issues, you’ll find this a godsend. In fact, I’d recommend it for any healthy person who doesn’t want to ever develop back issues.

De mis mejores compras. Llega totalmente armado, con excelentes materiales y una gean calidad en los terminados.En el uso diario; super cómodo para trabajar sentado o parado, además de que el mecanismo para cambiarlo de posición es suave y fácil de usar.

The riser arrived intact in its original box. Once opened, I noticed the packing was very well done and it would survive even the most vigorous UPS or FedEx guy’s delivery handling. As mentioned by others, it is fully assembled, and all you need is sufficient desk area to place it on top of and then you can proceed to set up your monitor, mouse and keyboard on top of it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the riser. I am somewhat used to low-quality workmanship and materials when buying “less expensive” Made in China furniture, but this one seems to be an exception. The wood is well finished with no splintery edges, and the hydraulic mechanism works smoothly (so far). I got the 32″ version for $165 and it is definitely a good value. When raised up all the way, it is just the right height for me, I am a 5’8″ male. If you are shorter, it does have a few notches available that are lower. If you are much taller (like over 6 feet tall), you may need to raise your monitor if you want to have eye-level with the monitor when standing up. One thing to note is that when sitting down and the riser is at its lowest level, it does add several inches of height (probably around 6 inches) to your monitor, so take that into consideration. I have noticed that when I am sitting down now, I tend to look up a little bit at the monitor, when I used to have straight eye-level to it. Have a look at the pictures I attached to get a sense for this. Overall its a good buy and I would definitely recommend it for people looking to have the flexibility to stand up and work for parts of the day.
