    Excellent
Excellent and insightful. I’m a forest fire fighter and work in a crew of 20 people and found a lot of solid information in here that’s applicable to our crew. Would definitely recommend this to groups and individuals to increase productivity, growth and happiness in the work place. And not just the work place but in all relationships

    great book
I can’t wait to dive in this book

  4. Michel Page

    Great examples and sound advice
I really enjoyed the structure of this book. The author studies various workplace cultures in different organizations (Navy Seals, Pixar, Disney…) to uncover what makes them tick and what makes them successful. Finally, the final chapter summarizes the ideas quite clearly in a how-to format. A great read for all team leaders and managers.

    New “go-to” reference book
This book blends the perfect amount of deep knowledge in the subject of culture building with the right amount of actionable items for a workplace. The examples/case studies are good and relevant as are the conclusions drawn. The book contains a succinct way of looking at building culture in your organization based on what the team is seeking to achieve. It is not a catch all and comprehensive one size fits all solution, rather it is a way of analyzing what your organizations goals are and then building your team to to function in that apace really well. This book could benefit from a follow up book on shaping specific cultures authentically with more specific actionable items for the myriad of companies on the spectrum between performing and creative teams that are laid out. I will definitely follow the author for more insights.

    Practical, Impactful
If you’re leader and looking to make doable changes in your workplace, this book is for you. It helped me to see the toxic nature of my workplace based on essential missing elements like appreciation, expressing the mission and specifically tying the employee to the success of ‘why we work’. The example of the new surgical procedure and how each team had the same training and experience but one team had essential elements and excelled while the other did not have the elements and failed -made a big impact on me. I found a new job!

    Best book I’ve ever read!
I recommend everyone who works for, and with, me to read this book. It is one of the most important pieces of reading I think we can do to create better work environments, and better teams that output truly excellent work.

    Not Bad, highly repetitious
Surprised at the ratings, not a bad book but the core concepts are feed to you over and over, lots of filling spaces, a book best to skim quickly to save time and avoids boredom from excessive repetition. This book in 50 pages would be incredible.

I can say nothing but good about this book. I was totally drawn in and have complete respect for Daniel Coyle. Wonderfully written. Keep it up. This will become a classic for years. Yes! Thumbs up in every way. I will recommend this to any and everyone looking for a great business book about teams, etc. and will praise it lavishly. Thank you.

    Me encantó el libro

  11. bruna

O autor compara grupos de bebês, com executivos de uma maneira impressionante e nos mostra que as vezes, ter títulos é menos importante do que fazer o básico.

  12. LC

If you read a lot of business books this book is definitely not for you. I have read most of the “lessons” in this book in other books. I found it extremely boring. Most of the things in this book are almost speculative and hearsay.
