    To-Do: Read This Book!
I’m a pretty organized person with a penchant for organizing books, and I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much new here. This book is a *gem* and, if you’re looking for a system that “pulls it altogether,” you’ve arrived. In To-Do List Formula, the author briefly reviews 10 other organizational systems, including a few popular ones you’ll likely have heard of, (eg. GTD, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People), as well as a few lesser-known systems, citing their various strengths – as well as their limitations. Zaharaides’ system borrows from the best of these, yet many of his ideas were brand-new to me. I’m entering a particularly busy time in my life just now, and I feel optimistic that, if I really commit to these methods, I could make significant headway in getting better organized while enjoying greater peace-of-mind.Often, by the time we look for ways to get better-organized, we’re already in a state of overwhelm; the last thing we need is to feel overwhelmed by how many books on getting organized there are! It would feel worthwhile if, by my review, I could point someone in the direction of a system that really delivers, and save that person the many hours I wasted on systems that were impractical or incomplete. The book’s low price certainly makes it accessible (I read it as an eBook) yet ironically, it could prove a deterrent to those who think that, “a better book would cost more.” Fortunately, the world of books doesn’t work like that, and you can happily find gems like this for just a few dollars, just as many of the world’s best books reside at the library, available to read for free. I would love to see a YouTube video where the author illustrates – in words and images – the genius behind his method. What a deal to get this much information for $4 – I’ve been to all-day seminars where I didn’t learn a fraction of this.

    This guide is helpful.
It helped me to see where the shortcomings of my system were and how to improve them. I am optimistic that I’ll be more productive going forward.Thank you!

    Simple and effective
I have Project Management training but I needed something simpler for day-to-day activities. This book was easy to read and kept the concept simple. I didn’t want some dense guide on how to do things that I already know how to do in project management. This is more about your own organizational well-being and it was a good read.

    One of the Best !
This was one of the best books that I have read on this topic! I love that it is focused,to the point and action oriented -and NOT passed with fluff! Highly Recommend!

Small but packed with useful information
I like Damon Zahariades’s books on productivity and I think they complement each other well. This is the shortest one I’ve read but I think I have the most notes on it. One thing I would have loved to see is what a few examples of awesome to-do list systems might look like in a visual manner (paper and digital), when putting all the important, core factors (and different lists) into place.

    Let’s do
With simple words, our author carries many tricks to be happy and fulfilled. Just take your time to read it. And be prepared to succeed. Thanks, Damon, for your work.

  9. KPRevels

I’ve read numerous productivity books in the past, some helpful, some not so much. Damon teaches about the psychological part of tasks which helps to clarify why some lists don’t work as well for people. It’s easy to read and follow; his suggestions on different approaches for different minds makes so much sense. I enjoyed reading this book and have given it to a family member to read.

  10. Wanice Cavalheiro Violim

Not a “you must to do this” rather than a “try this and adapt to your need”. Worthwhile the time reading.

  11. Michelle

  12. June Hornchurch

I’m so grateful for this book. Well written and adds clarity to a topic everyone thinks they know, but they don’t. It’s helping me to overcome stress from my current overwhelming brain dump to do list. Thankyou Damon.
