Best purchase I’ve made!
Let me tell you I’m in Love. The power on this thing is just amazing. It’s almost too powerful. Yes it’s loud but all blenders are. I’m so happy with this purchase. Being able to make my daily green juice with added Kale, apple, celery, carrot, turmeric, aloe juice and lemon juice has added such a benefit to my life. My cravings are virtually gone since this is so filling and so healthy. I use the blender every day and so far I’ve made my own peanut butter, ice cream, almond milk, chick pea soup, squash soup. I also used it as a food processor and added celery, cucumber, red pepper, onion and tomato. I blended all the ingredients separately but it went by so quick. In no time I had the perfect size for a conch salad, it was very similar to salsa. What a time saver. The Vitamix line has quite a variety as far as price range. I chose the A2300 because I didn’t need the pre programs settings or wifi added so why pay more for those options. The A2300 comes with a 64 ounce cup. It’s so big. Definitely great for making soups. Not so great when making peanut butter. I ended up buying the extra single serving cups and I do love those too. They come in handy for the small batches of peanut butter or ice cream and for smoothies on the go.I’m still learning about all the wonderful things I can make with this beauty. But I’m loving the process. I almost forgot to mention how easy it is to clean. I just give it a good rinse with hot water. Just two pieces the lid and the cup. You can also add a bit of soap and water in to the cup and blend for a minute. That gets it clean too.The blender is listed on Amazon.ca for $549. If you want to save $200 (including tax, go to Amazon.ca the more buying options and look at the Used very good options. The link is below. Amazon sells these here. That’s where I got mine for $373. It states that it might have some cosmetic damage, or damaged box. Mine was actually not damaged at all. It was brand new and perfect. Plus if anything goes wrong with your order you can always return it. With Amazon it’s no questions asked.

Changed my relationship with food and improved my life!
I bought a year ago and I literally used it every single day to make smoothies and greens juice and I honestly don’t feel bad at all spending that much money on this blender because it’s absolutely worth it! Other blenders used to cut my frozen fruits and greens and I can feel it when I drink and it causes irritation in my throat and I used to cough from that while the vitamix literally perfects my smoothies and does an excellent job at blending everything.I highly highly recommend investing your money in a Vitamix!

good investment
I’ve wanted a Vitamix for years and finally I bought one and it certainly does not disappoint. Its functions are many as advertised in different food preparations and is very easy to use and clean. The self detecting bowls (8 oz and 20 oz) took a bit of time to get them work and tips from other users online helped immensely. With the Ascent series more sizes of containers can go with the machine. As it is expensive so I’ll say this is an investment and a good one over time..

Not as impressed as I thought I would be
I’ve been using this blender for about a month and I have to say that I’m not as impressed as I expected to be. It is a good blender but for the price I expected a bit more. From day one the start button hasn’t been working as it should, I have to press it a number of times to start the machine. It has a hard time blending frozen banana which I do daily in a smoothie. Customer service has been really good so far and the blender is going in for repairs, but it is still disappointing after spending a lot of money to get a good blender I have to be without for a couple weeks.

Very good blender, reasonably easy to clean
This blender is very powerful with sharp blades. I was unimpressed by the noise but that’s the byproduct of powerful blenders. I was a bit shocked that this blender is fairly easy to clean (you still need to be careful of the blades) and the pitcher is thicker than some cheap models I had before. The “recipe book” it came with was nice and of high quality but I would still opt for a lower price tag without it.

Amazing Blender
Amazing Blender yes it’s a lot of money but if you want quality and something that is made in the USA this is well worth every dime it will last many many years so in the long run it really doesn’t cost more. Blender has a ton of power would highly recommend peace of mind when blending knowing it is high-quality American made.

Only use for soft ingredients! Does Not Work as described.
When I opened the box I was surprised to see how small the blade is for a machine which is meant to do so many things apart from making fruit juice. I followed the instructions provided. Firstly, I used the blender to chop parsley. The parsley was not fine at all. No matter what setting it was on, it could not chop the parsley fine. I had to add water to help it break down this herb. When it was on a high setting it made a terrible loud sound. It certainly does not chop fine vegetables. Secondly, I used it to make doe and noticed that it could not collect all the ingredients at the top of the jar and bring them closer to the blade. I noticed smoke coming out of the motor not too long after adding flour and water. I turned off the machine and returned it. It might be fine for making fruit and vegetable juice. But it is very expensive for a machine which just makes juice. I think if the blade was wider it would be much more effective. The app for recipes does not detect the machine. It is misleading to say that it can chop vegetables well and make doe when in fact these tasks cannot be performed. It is very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend the unit.

I was surprised
I was thinking why should I pay this amount of money for just a blender. I bought that few months ago. And never had such smooth hummus or smoothie like the one this produce. Very powerful and versatile. Of course very noisy in the high speed but worth the noise and the money.
