A Summary of Dave Ramsey’s teaching and writing
It is hard to rate this book with stars. I agree with most one stars and five stars reviews at the same time. It all comes to this:a) if you are familiar with Dave’s teaching and writing, this book will be a huge disappointment if you are expecting to read something new. Some sections are almost verbatim parts of his previous books. The National Study of Millionaires will be new only if you haven’t read Chris Hogan’s Everyday Millionaires. If you have, it’s an identical material.b) if you are not familiar with Dave’s teaching and are interested in it, this book would be a good place to start in my opinion, because it is a synopsis of his previous books and principles he teaches. It will give you a decent overview without having to read all of his books.

Good book, and the right lessons
If you want a formula to not have debt and likely become a single digit millionaire this book will get you there. I can appreciate the religious side of Dave, but can see some being put off by it. Nonetheless the financial lessons are sound for the majority of people, and he is clear that this isn’t a “get rich” book…having a couple million bucks is great, but it’s not the same as a couple billion which I like how Dave differentiates

I love Dave Ramsey content but this book was disappointing. It wasn’t a practical guide as much as a book convincing you that it’s ok to be a millionaire and you’re not a bad person if you are one. If you listen to his radio show and have read other books made by the Ramsey group, you want find any revolutionary material in this one. If you need convincing that it’s ok to be a millionaire, this book is for you.

In order to become a millionaire you need to follow step by step a proved and well structured guide, and this is the guide. One more required ingredient is a new mindset which drives you to the goal, if you can believe it you can achieve it.It’s necessary to have plenty knowledge of the previous book Total Money Makeover in order to have detail of each one of the baby steps.
