    AMENDED REVIEW Actually works great!
This watch had stopped working for about a week then suddenly accepted a recharge attempt and started working again, I’m wondering if a bit of water got into it when i was washing my hands while wearing it….Previous review: This watch does everything i need. I paired it with my iphone. (I can also use Alexa on this.) I use it for when i exercise to monitor my heart rate & BP. Also paired with my ear pods to listen to podcasts or Amazon Prime music while on the treadmill etc. It alerts me when i get emails and texts. They stay on the display long enough for me to scan quickly and see who the messages are from. You can’t reply to them but you can make and receive calls on this watch. Amazing watch, especially for this price!! ($39.99 Cdn) The pics only show a bit of what you can do with it. Well worth the price. Very nicely made, good quality!!- Note of caution—-DO NOT rely on it for proper blood pressure readings, after a week of using the watch my BP readings went so out of whack, showing 87/87 and 82/75 etc. So worrying i went to doctor. He said no way to rely on ANY watch to do blood pressure properly! My BP was fine when using an arm monitor! The Heart Beats per minute on the watch seems accurate though. Other than that , still a great buy.

Great smartwatch with sleek design and impressive features
I’ve been using this smartwatch for 2 weeks now, and I’m very impressed.First off, the design is just right. It’s not flashy or over the top; it’s just a good-looking watch that goes well with whatever you’re wearing. Plus, it’s comfy to wear all day long. No bulky stuff here, just a lightweight, sleek gadget. But what really got me hooked are its features. The touchscreen is easy to use, and I can quickly check my messages, see who’s calling, or even change songs without fumbling around. It’s simple, which is exactly what I was looking for.The health tracking tools are pretty cool too. It tracks my steps, heart rate, and even my sleep patterns. It’s like having a mini fitness coach right on my wrist. The battery life is surprisingly solid, as I only had to charge once per week so far, which is a win.Oh, and it syncs up with my phone without any fuss. I get all my notifications right on the watch, so I never miss anything important. It’s handy when I’m out and about and don’t want to keep pulling out my phone.Overall, it is practical, and reliable. If you want a smartwatch that does the job without any extra frills, this is the one to go for.

    Love this watch.
I think we are finally getting there with affordable smart watches. I have had 4 “smart watches” in the last couplé of years and this one is significantly better than my previous ones. All the functions work well (except minor glitches I have notice so far), starting from the pairing through various options and configuration. The software app is much better with intuitive tabs and tick boxes to control most aspects of the watch. The display is crisp and with well proportion fonts and character sizes.Minors issues so far:When the GPS function is used to track a walk, because my phone’s (pixel 6) goes dark after my usual 2 minute of inactivity,so does the GPS. So it only tracks for 2 minutes. Also, when you import contacts to the watch, certain characters are removed, I.e., left and right brackets (), used to delimiter the area code, and spaces in the name field, but not all the time. Finally, the charging cable is too short – 16 inches or so. Can’t recharge the watch on a desk or night table and have it connected to a charger on a wall electrical plug.Update 3023/10/02. The app crashes consistently after approx. 40 minutes into an “outdoor walk” exercise which means that the current time/kilometer goes blank. That makes it kind of useless fir that particular function.I still recommend this watch.

    Stopped functioning after <1 month.
Update: Poor reliability over just a month. Definitely had hope but lost it quickly. Initial review below but had to return the item.----------A watch that actually works well and has a clear display. I have bought a few cheaper watches in the past only to subsequently return them because of a few issues. This one so far has met my expectation and maybe surpassed it in terms of what a watch should be:1. Display: Clear. Not pixelated. Vibrant colours. Looks exactly like the product pictures. This is in comparison to other past purchases where the images on the display are quite pixelated.2. Responsiveness: Not sure how such a cheap watch can be extremely responsive to touch but it truly is. In comparison to an older Apple Watch Series 3, this is definitely an upgrade with no lag time. In comparison to my current Samsung Watch 5 Pro, this is quite similar (apart from the LTE/cellular capabilities of course).3. Integration: I have an Android phone and it seamlessly integrates with my phone making access to contacts + other phone data quite easy.4. Audio: No concerns. When I receive a call, I can be heard clearly on the other line by the person I am speaking with.5. Messaging: I like that you can receive messages from many different apps, specifically WhatsApp which is what I use the most. It may be possible but I have not yet figured out how to respond to messages though using the watch so this might be something that could be fixed with a ?software upgrade.6. Battery: I have used the watch significantly (messages, time, a few calls) for 3 days prior to it requiring a recharge (battery was at 11% when I recharged it).Of note, given that I have my Watch 5 Pro, I was planning to give this to my mother as she does not currently have a smart watch but I just wanted to test it out first and make sure she would not run into any issues - I am quite satisfied to say the least.Overall, for this price and quality, you can't really go wrong with a smart watch like this.

I have had Android Wear OS watches for years that cost $200 to $300. After the battery wore out in my latest watch, I decided to give this smart watch a try, although I was skeptical that it only costs around $40. Yes, this watch is plastic instead of metal and perhaps does not have a tough Gorilla Glass face, but boy, does it work well. It does not have all the integrations with my Android phone that Wear OS does, but it has the important ones, and I would say it works better and easier than Wear OS.The watch is easy to set up with the VeryFit app on my phone, and I liked how easy to was to determine what notifications you want to display on the watch. I find that if I get too many notifications, I start ignoring them, so for my watch I only wanted SMS messages and a certain email account. This was easy to select in the app. There are many watch faces to choose from, but I do wish that I could customize the face more by selecting font, font size, color, which data is displayed, etc. This is actually my biggest request, especially for my friend who also got one of these watches and is visually impaired. Being able to include more bits of weather data would be nice. The phone works very well. Calls are easy to answer and the speaker and microphone are good enough to easily have entire conversations with the watch. For an incoming call, though, there is not as much caller ID info displayed as I got with Wear OS. Also, outgoing calls need to be made from a limited favorites list that you create for the watch using the VeryFit App, so it is not as flexible as WearOS that taps into your contact list.I use other fitness tracking devices, so I have not really used the fitness and workout functions on the watch. It is nice to have your daily step count and heart rate always available. The numbers seem to be reasonably accurate, which is impressive. The Alexa feature works well, but again, is more limited than the Google assistant integration between Wear OS and Android.Battery life is excellent. I generally need to charge every three days. With my Wear OS watches, I was charging every night. In conclusion, there are watches that have a better integration with Android or Apple iOS, are more customizable, and look more like jewelry, but these generally will cost you a lot more money. If you want something affordable that gets the job done, I think this watch is an excellent choice. It does most everything it claims to do quite well and easily. I am very impressed.

The pros far outweigh the cons for this smart watch. For the price, it is probably the best smart watch on the market.Making and receiving calls, handsfree, with commendable sound quality.Alexa-equipped, it is useful for quick reference points.A wide choice of available watch faces/dials.Remote music operation is also a handy feature. The battery life is shorter than a lot of smart watches I’ve owned but it is nothing of great concern. The health data is always a moot point with ALL smart watches monitoring a variety of physiological checks. The steps counting and distances are reasonably accurate, in my estimation.Sleep tracking is probably one of the most ludicrous features of ANY smart phone. Don’t take it seriously.I have NO hesitation in recommending this smart watch to anyone. The appearance of the watch is fine. Only watches with smaller dimensions can be regarded more elegant or stylish. The app, VeryFit (akin to VeryFit Pro), is probably one of the best fitness-orientated apps out there. In summary, I would thoroughly recommend this smart watch.

Order arrived before the set date, and the quality of the products are excellent. Very happy with the purchase.

Love it!• Easy to set up with the VeryFit app. The English is good and instructions and features quite intuitive.• Watch face lights up with a flick of the wrist.• Fitness features all seem to work great and are easy to use. However, when using a sport mode, the clock is tiny in the top right corner (too small for me to read without glasses) and the watch doesn’t allow switching screens other than the music screen.• Alexa works fine but is a little slow to respond. I also had to reboot the phone before it worked properly. Prior to that, it would only respond with “Sorry I can’t understand what you mean”. Alexa is accessible with a long press of the button, swiping through the screens or from the apps menu (short press).• Music screen displays song title, allows volume control and selecting next or previous track. Works fine with Bluetooth earbuds simultaneously connected to the phone for audio.• Making and receiving phone calls works fine but it took me a while to figure out that you have to short press the button on the side of the watch to access the app menu to find the dial pad and other options. Receiving calls automatically displays the caller ID with an option to answer or reject. One unexpected problem I had was when using the phone to make a call it automatically started using the watch. I had to quickly disable Bluetooth to use the phone’s speaker.• Emails, texts, Facebook and Skype messages etc all pop up and are easily accessible and readable with a swipe up from the clock screen. However, it is only an alert. There is no way to reply to them. You can only read and delete them from the screen. (This does not delete them from the apps themselves).• There are numerous watch faces available, some paid, some free, some interactive (such as containing a shortcut to the dial pad), but the watch only has capacity to store 3 or 4. This usually means having to delete one to make space for a new one.• Battery life is great and is clearly shown on the watch face as well as within the app. I seem to use around 10% per day but I imagine this varies depending on how many features are used. The magnetic charger is dead easy to connect and will repel if an attempt is made to connect it the wrong way around.• Huge range of other features such as alarms, timers, stopwatch etc, many of which I may never use but are there if I want them.• All in all, I am very happy with the watch and would highly recommend it. Its features and the VeryFit app are all well thought out and work well.
